I realised something recently. A spiritual journey is sometimes taken alone, but if you can share the experience with someone and gain more knowledge and peace together through love and understanding, that makes it even more meaningful that doing it by yourself.
If your partner understands where your life wants to take you and joins you, dont you think this will be a more rewarding happiness?
DO you guys think that sharing a spiritual journey is more rewarding? Or should this be a personal thing?

I beleive that it is better to share your spiritual journey because then more people can begin theirs! It is important to share everything in life so we can advance together to a better state of mind, music and consiousness! A spiritual journey is never alone because as it's name says it's a spirit journey and your spirit is never alone! It's one with all the spirits even at this moment the only thing is to experience this through your experience in Life!

been reading through this thread...some nice thoughts...heres my little addition...
What is spirituality? its a state of peace and inner serenity in this crazy world...well, to me it is...
music...music is like...water!
like water on a hot HOT summer day...
it just fills your soul with calm and cool and positive energy....
thats as close as spirituality as anyone gets imo!

Spirituality lies in realizing that there is no big plan, that your life does not have some "meaning", some role that you are supposed to fulfill. Once that is realized, life itself will be meaningful enough; every moment will bring you happiness, and you will need nothing else.
How is music related?
Music that ppl create is just an extension of our inner music, it is not even close to the intricateness of the inner music, but helps us tune in a little bit better. If your brain receives absolutely no auditory stimulation from the "outside" world (let's not get into what the "external" world means), it(the brain) will create its own auditory "inputs". See the isolation tank experiments for proof.
Now, how is this related to spirituality?
Well, once you hear your own inner music, you will learn to appreciate yourself, and by extension the world outside of you (or inside of you, however you see that). Once the world is appreciated for what it really is (and that is different for each of us), we will stop looking for that hidden meaning in things (noumena to put it in kantian terms) and be spiritual as defined above.

Through all times there was music which directed people in a special way. Through music they found there way of life, themselves and a spiritual feeling which united them because they loved it! This for me is enough proof that music changes your life, it did change mine and like me many others found this splendid way of living and doing the right thing, trying to help others in need! This is why there will always be good music because it is made from people who have an angel soul and this kind of music is music that will never die, it's music which touches frequencies of our soul and naturally makes us feel better, stronger, happier and ready to face life in a different way! This for me is also trance, repeated beats lifting you high taking care that your body moves in rythm with nature and then healing melodies which guide you to your deep within giving you energy like nothing before in your life! It's just full of nature and this is why it is spiritual it leads you to a more natural life!

great thread ganjagil, found it late, but there's allways time to find samadhi
Trance music stroke me at Boom2000 like a thunder. I always seeked myself and showed myself through music and to spiritual thinking/reading/talking, and trance music unites it all like the most practical metaphor of life and spiritual motivation. Each trance style as it's connection to an emotion or prespective of life, so I believe style as nothing to do with good/bad trance qualification. The message in each trance music is earable, feelable, in the body, mind and spirit fields... as long it has something to do with what you feel or seek in the time you ear it!
I believe that spiritual trancing and party/groovy trancing are equally good, giving people enlightment or pure fun, opening our minds or releasing our bad emotions.
Jump, smile, travel far, reach the clouds or samadhi, it's all between the composer and the listener, and is beautiful!!
trance changed my life because it gave me focus to see what is important for me and put every different aspect of my life in its place, inside of me
have fun, fly high !

I agree with you in many ways Sirguei but not all of todays trance is spiritual in fact just a few of the artists today do music from there soul and this is the purpose of my thread to motivate people into listening to more spiritual music instead of commercial music! We need more spiritual trance! more more more!

Yes ganja, I share with you the need for spiritual seeker trance! And it's missing these days... but that will awake the need to seek spirituality even more I believe The seekers will seek even stronger, and the rockers will be a bit oversaturated with this big wave of power/groove/fun music, wich for me as also very good reasons to exist, and goes directly to the heart of many, making them happy! Needs and tastes will always be changing through time, and I believe the psychedelic will return very soon very fresh and stronger than ever!!!
so prepare your minds
meanwhile we smoke the holy ganja and climb to the next stage
