i m in the market for a reverb as i sold my old favorite one X-verb some months ago..
i m demoing Relab lx480 and exponential audio and the quality is just amazing.(X verb is amazing too)
relab lx480 is a very good emulation of the well known lexicon unit, it can deliver a kind of classic sound (made by the man behind X-verb)
exponential audio is the company of a guy who worked at lexicon and made the pcm plugins .. |

yes i tried it and it sound really good ! these reverb are in same league to me then depending the sound after some will be more or less suited.
the lx480 can sound really polished , the phoenix from exponential audio sound clean in a really nice way , both gel very nice with the source. |

i need to demo it ,valhalla stuff is excellent ,vintage verb should be more to my taste than vroom. would be nice to save some bucks but i guess all these verbs sound different and wont replace each other.
need more demoin but a 480 at this price is a dream even if it s not cheap..i may regret it once the intro offer end.i heard a few sample comparaison vs the hardware on the net and i though the software was the hardware it s sure good enough as emulation for me ..now do i really need this sound more than the phoenix verb i m not sure yet..both would be great but so expensive.. so hopefully vintage verb end as the winner |

How about 2CAudio stuff?
They got a new one, B2.
http://www.2caudio.com/products/b2
Its more aimed at creative use of reverb.
Wish i could afford Lexicon reverb, sounds so good and great user interface.
Im using redline reverb at the moment, its old but i like the sound.

i used to be a die hard arts acoustics reverb user but the last couple of years i find my self using it for drums only (short reverbs) valhalla room is my reverb of choice, it can create some excellent rooms and plates with a very smooth and clean sound.. and it has a price you cant beat!

i demoed more these verb and all are great and bring different flavor, neither of these reverbs can replace another. the one i used most is lx480 it sound tick phat in the mids and polished, blend with the source well and add a nice 3d depth, nice one , have to try more vintage verb tomorrow |
