To me and my ear Valhalla Room is just the thing for trance and other electronic stuff. It is so lush and beautiful, makes cold electronic sounds richer.

On the other hand Native Lexicon plugins are amazing for live music where natural sounding rooms are a must. Well, at least that is what works for me. BTW TC's PoCo reverbs are really nice too.

i don t know about the pcm i didn t try it much but old lexicon arent natural reverb these almost sound like fx that sound very lush, nothing like a real room so i find it suprising.

personaly i don t like much vroom and vintage verb these are good but i dont find them in same league than exponential audio reverb for example but it s probably about taste...

Lexicon PCM has some brilliant natural sounding room and hall algos.

Then there is all the othe lush, non-natural algos in there.

+1 a perfect reverb imo impressive how natural and real it sounds. There is a before and after Lexicon, one doesn't need anything else when it comes to natural rooms.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

yep these are good but a pain to use imo.

about the pcm these are way cheaper now , i think 350 $$ the full bundle. have to re demo to see how it compare to the newer verb..

btw pcm is coded by the guy of exponential audio, the lex 960, pcm 96 too .
he left lexicon to make exponential audio so you can execept really high quality, if not even better than on the lex pcm with these verbs.

tbh. ive got an Alesis quadraverb 2+
cost me 40 quid, 14 bit and blows everything else ive used out the water
bags of charectar, crusty sound, not as crisp as the lexis but it finds its place in the mix beautifully

i beleive mr posford still uses his to this day

that and his two 9 grand eventides so its not really a big point, and i should really just shut up

i demoed more all these reverb, the Ni ,vahalla,lx480,R2

it depend the source sound and the result after but these are all really good.. it s a bit like software Eq to me..it come down to personal preference, the gui, the interface that lead you to the result after the more easily..

vahalla for the price is really good..with exponential or lx480 or lex pcm.. would be good combo

That's what I understood

did you get better result?

i demo the ni reverbs these are really decent/good , but i found them not in same league as lx480

I did get better results, but am not fully satisfied yet.
But this has probably got more to do with my limited understanding of mixing
