Very nice. But this topic is not about whether psytrance uses samples or not.

^^it's much more interesting discussion than the sample pack's quality dick!!
@beat agency and nomad moon:i'm refering to psytrance i've heard since 2002.don't know about the 90s...and as i see nowdays there is a very big deal about sounds from scratch to the point that if you use samples you are a thief.the same time other styles of edm give big respect to samplers...

Personally I'm not about to cut myself off from one of my major sources of inspiration. I'll keep using samples a and when I feel the need.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

My view also
And i'm with Colin here, we narrow our options but not using samples, sure it's important to program synths, but manipulating samples its also very crafty, look at Psilocybian's tutorials
There's lots of people saying don't do this or don't do that, and that can reduce all the options we have. For a newbie it can be hard, maybe he's real good at sampling and messages like that can turn him away from making good music.           Tudo que é melhor e mais superior em mim saúda tudo que é melhor e mais alto em si

check billain sampling sounds from his room and layering them to his mid basslines.
