Tom, I have actualy been experimenting with Dada mixes at home (grab a random record from the stack, mix it into the set within 15 seconds, hold the mix for 1 minute, play with the EQ and faders while the mix lasts, drop the previous track out of the mix, take another random record etc...)
Also while practicing and learning my mixing, I used to practice at the time tunnel club in TA with the records of the owner of the club. i didn't know the records so I'd just play them by the order they were in the box.
