SLAMMO.... what is it?

In September of 2008, the first SLAMMO party came to fruition.
SLAMMO!!! is a concept created by myself (squee) and my girlfriend (nicola) in june or august of this year. The concept of SLAMMO is a psytrance jam-band of sorts.
the SLAMMO!!! event brought Freaks of Nature, Secret Society, Dylalien, Arahat, and FaceHead together on one stage. Connected via ethernet on their happy macintosh computers, the 7 artists made music as one, one person dropping kicks and basses while the rest layered and layered trippy and twisted sounds.
The night went well, 12 full hours of unplanned JAM-session that was smooth and amazingly well put together.
We believe that SLAMMO is the beginning of a true innovation in psytrance parties around the world.

I am hoping that the SLAMMO concept will spread, that we will see tracks with the word SLAMMO to describe that it was made by multiple people in a live setting. I would love to see SLAMMO sets around the world, with flyers mentioning 4 artists who are playing together as SLAMMO.
Talks of the next official SLAMMO!!! party are already underway, maybe it will happen again in portland, maybe somewhere else in the world, but wherever it happens, innovation and smiles will follow.

hey just wanted to report that here in costa rica we do this also but we have done it more in ambient mood music, we have made jams with two persons on their computers, some others with live percussion, and some others with instruments such as tablas, guitars and other instruments..... |

niice idea ! .. is it possible to hear a small clip of this 7 artist jam ? the proof of the pudding as they say ... also one about too many cooks ....  .. soo . feed me ?

fucking excellent idea......WE NEED MORE IMPROVISATION IN PSY....!
needs good marketing though..., as suggested above, we need videoclips, recorded dj sets, something that gives an idea of the result....?! (even if im sure the producers involved produced a top notch performance....!!)
but what was the style that came out?
how did you decide who was responsible for basslines etc? did you change around?
please more details would be appreciated.....
