I'm very curious.... so how was it?
I had the plesure of listening to Simon Postford, Raja Ram & GMS long time ago in NYC... I'm more than sure they still kick ass...
keep it psychedelic...!!!

First I have to say I like shpongel music very much technically and music wise.
The show sucked!
Very big disappointment
1. Sound was a disaster - u could get the lows and highs of the play back! (  )
but every thing that was done live on stage (and i mean the part that were REALY played and sung) we're so back in the mix balance that u almost could not hear them at all - god damn it !
can u once put the soundman INFRONT of the stage and NOT ON IT???
i'll say it again: "INFRONT of the stage and NOT ON IT!!!"
2. Feedbacks all the time ...bhaaaa - hate those
3. raga should practice his mimic abilities - it doesn't look good when u miss half a second while trying to sync-lips the playback vocal samples or imitate playing flute line way off the mic (ya, i don't like when someone takes me as a fool - did some one mentioned 10 euro grands???)
4. well "the playback issue" - the tracks were performed exactly like they are printed on the CDs (sorry - i expected a bit of improvisationality)
The good things:
5. The drummer and guitar player did good job in the parts that u could hear them.
Girl singers were lovely to look at and u could hear they have great voices (to bad they were so far in the mix instead of in the front of it)
6. Nice deco
Button line: big flop - wish I skipped it and kept the good impression of that band.
With a good sound system tuned, and more musical courage it could have been a great concert.

Location is the Castel place... a big place, but it was too small.....
lots of ppl shoved in it like a can of sardeens - the famous sentense.
Hallucinogen live was one of the best sets I've ever heard. Tracks that are 7-8 years old, were played in such a way - great powerfull, smartly built..
I dunno - just reminded me of how simon can be awesome.
The big flop wasn't in the sound, sound was ok if you stand in the middle of the dancing area.... the big flop was too many ppl in a too small place.
If I don't have place to move myself, I don't think it's a good idea to party.
I enjoyed Ott,Shpongle and Simon.
then went off.
I don't understand how ppl could dance to alien project after simon's set - it's impossible.

Well...very nice deco great great set by simon posford ! ott was very good i enjoyed the tunes he played there very much...shpongle live was wierd...realy wierd..playbeck's all the time...and it sounded very low cus of that sound system !
the place contained way too much people...and i mean it had lot's of ppl ! u couldnt move an inche without moving 10 other people.
well i sure had fun with simon but next time try to bring less people plz.i almost died frome the less of air.

Sound was very dancefloor oriented, which killed off a lot of the music - if we'd be listening to techno or house it would have been better sound-wise. And yes, WAYYYY TOO CROWDED. How the hell is someone supposed to dance like this???
Yet...
Great music. Wonderful music. For music like this, it's all worth it.

too many people. sound was off. crowd was strange. shpongle "live" in playback. too many people. bar service was impossible to get. disoriented feeling anywhere in that place. too many people.
and too many people.
ott was very good. hallucinogen was interesting. alien and raja were terrible, i fleed the premise asap.
organizers got greedy in my opinion and let too many people in. i coudlve enjoyed the party alot more. it was nice to see people there.

simon is the king no doubt, what a set@!!!!!!!!
the best live i heard in israel, i found i secret corner close to the left speaker's wich was quite empty so i could rock !!!!
was great seeing u all !!!!! lot's of people and special thanx to u karnaf and freekazoid:)

music was good,for shpongle i expected much more but the sets of simon and raja vs alien back to back were wonderfull

I never saw such vibes in a party in Israel.
WOW. It was hysterical.
Shpongle playback was funny, but still watch this whole crew performing together was a wonderful experience. Simon Posford was amazing! Couldn't stop digging.
Too many people, no place to move, but still a great crowd.
Awesome experience. Pls bring me more

the party was just as i expected...
crowded place.. high prices for anything... and lots of friends..
well.. lets start from shpongle cause i missed ott!!!  funny preformence from shpogle(it was funny seeing raja fakin' the flute.. and michele fakin' the vocalz) the drumer was the cutest guy! he drumed like crazy! lots of energys. he and the guitar guy was the attractionb of that gig cause they where the only who realy played something there.. but all in all it was great seeing shpongle great exeperience...
simon posford was meannn!!! great set! and has my friend said his music came to early to earth.. he playd there music from 95-97 and ppl smashed away.. (i'm so sorry i missed the goa age... )
and thats it.. i went home.. it was nice! i didnt wants to stay cause i knew i'll get disapointed from raja ari and the others to come..
have a nice week ppl!
