Sometime in the new year.
Simon played most of it when he was here in October for Thump-o-Ween, and a few of us got to hear it in its entirety the next night. It is more reminiscent of the first album than the second.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shpongle is also produced by Simon Posford right? I heard something about Raja quitting on future productions with Posford, 'coz he already reached what he wanted with Shpongle. Well I don't know much about it, but I heard that and I know that's no fake rumor, so it's strange to hear about tracks being released I wasn't expecting much.
Anyway... hope to see future work from them. |

Yes, Shpongle is Simon Posford and Raja Ram, with some guest contributions. The production of the 3rd album is already completed. If a rumor is not confirmed to be true, it is fake by nature, with regards to the truth. Sooner or later, we'll find out if this is the last Shpongle album. Who knows, they could start doing new music together under a different project, or they could still do Shpongle songs for some compilations. We can only hope for the most brilliant music from them as possible. |

I hope so.. I preffer the first.. the second has some cheesy moments (and some great ones too, but not like the first) |

New Shpongle album is coming out soon, around March or so. Album is finished, but art work is not done yet. Simon is traveling right now and he didn't have time to work on the art work for the cover. He'll be back to Englan in the begining of the next year and will continue to work on it.
He himself says that it's a very strange album, very different from the 2 previous ones. Lets see what he ment by that

Traveller, I know that not Simon doing the artwork, but he has to be in Englaned for some reason in order to finales it. That's what he toled me, I'm just repeating his words.

I saw the artwork for Shpongle - done by Dave(?) and Simon - it's AMAZING!!!! Mask itself looks like it was made out of micro chips. It's one big micro chip. It's soooo cool!!!!
