Another thing wezzy, do not save the world, save yourself, and then those closest to yourself. The rest of the world will be saved when it is ready to be saved.

do you all actually plan to go down and help the people.
coz the sight is crazy...
the whole place smells morbid.

I know there are many out there who have similar aspirations. One pitfall of such communities is the relative isolation they unwittingly put themselves in. If such a group of people have such a brilliant working plan and way-of-life, and grow the best vegatables, then they should share and allow scrutiny by the "outside". I have had arguments with such people who don't want to share, at least demonstrate, the ideas they espouse...seems more about "dropping out of the machine".
That said, this plastic world also gives you certain tools you might take for granted, like the computers you use, make the music you listen to, the PA's you dance to. Once this is reconciled, then one has a fighting chance at being harmonious.
In my view, the material goods we surround ourselves with can be seen as either tools or toys. I prefer tools, those things that I can build with. Toys are a mere distraction. Perhaps the classic case that our dear friend my refer to is the person whose worth in the world is measured by the visible affluence of goods...i.e. Humvee (big fucking SUV), Rolex watch, etc. That's not to say that by virtue of owning a Rolex it makes you a purely materialistic person, Rolex's are good quality watches, there's nothing wrong with having the best quality you can afford (the desire to "afford more" however can be a pitfall, especially if you're well past the substanance level). A related topic are the concepts of "fair value" and "market value"...see the writings of Wendell Berry, a naturalist and farmer for more on this overlooked set of concepts, related to greed and desire.
In parts of the NYC metro area, affluence is demonstration by large bulky gold medillions (gold chains). I've not seen much of this in Kentucky where I used to live.

When you get down to it, yes that synthetic manmade crap is part of nature. People buy these expensive products to increase their odds of reproduction with the mate of their choice and to display their place in the socieoeconomic order. It's as natural as the courtship and dominance behaviors of any other species.

yes we all are connected to the cosmic spirit, we all are of the same matter, in different forms! i am you , you are me!
we all have a destiny, to better ourselfs and the world, just like jesus!
i also plan to grow organic vegies ect.. to feed the homeless and drug addicts, i think hand grown organic food has magic and will empower the people, freshly organic grown food has lost knowlegde, eating it empowers us, fill us with lost knowlegde! |

do you know about harmonic balance? obviously not, its all about working in a harmonic way, doing whats wright by your people and the earth, so we can all live in harmony. You can not steal a sausage because everything will be free, that kind of behavier can not exist, there will be no money! the only reason people steal is because of money, the root of all evil!
We will also be working with the outside world educating, working and playing!
we will have ware houses in the city, so we can choose if we wont to live in city or country, we plan to have wares houses and villages accross the country and the world, so we can travel and have many choices, variety is the spice of life! this is the future and its born from Psy! and taught by the fairys & Pixies. |
