You do what you think is right, others do what they think is right.
Ever just thought it might just be fun and interesting for someone to try his hands and brain at a remix/cover of a track he likes?
Maybe him/her hearing someone elses remix was the trigger that made him think- hey, I'd also like to do something like that, I wanna make it different...

i think some remixes are nice...
like the Etnica 'Triptonite' remixes (1999 mix and playa mix) so far have been great... (there's a new one coming from Fractal Glider @ Boom Rec, watch out!!)
a few years ago Reefer Decree made an excellent remix of Erdbeer Und Kiwi which i frankly prefer to the original.
Aki (from Belgrade-based act Species) did a remix of old Pleiadians classic 'Alcyone' which is a monsta.
'80's Virus' by Dino is nice... (Depeche Mode), he also remixed Blue Monday which is great...
It depends on the individual track...
But yeah i think VoodooPpl's been done enough by now  |
