this is true, i have never in my life, saw a trance supporter taking drugs

I have to agree with this, people who love techno don't have respect for anything, very true, no argument here, solid statement.

indeed, every time i go a trance party, afterwards EVERYBODY picks up the trash, it's amazing and so true, that's why i love psy so much, all full of nice drug free, shanti people, who love the earth |

Actually, dance music and enhancers date as far back to sticks, stones and skins. They may have called it teckno then. The Aboriginal drum vs the West African drum to name a few that influence our teckno sound can also be viewed as a genre issue, however they both qualify as dance music.
It doesn't really matter what we call it since there will be a new word for it soon, which will change the understanding for the past. With opinions and personal experience just about anything is debatable. Facts only piss people off.
To a non-teckno listener, ooops, electronic listener..I mean non-organic dance music or someone who doesn't listen to it at all which by far are the ones who run this world, hear it all as the same shit.
Hey,I listen to electronic teckno psy/dance music and then someone will ask "what kind"...? The same question will follow if I stick with any of the "generic" names for music like: metal, rock, rap, punk and so on.
Compare the endurance,coordination and skill
of electronic/teckno dance music vs organic dance music...
teckno=psytrance=generic<DRUM=Dance music

ill give an example instead of going on trying to determine what is better, who is the cousin who is the brother, whos your daddy......it is soo obvious the two genres are related, have been even more closely related at the beginning of dance scene ....but looking foward....these ties will/are/should become less and less strong.....different music cultures are formed and evolve like countries culture did in history...
example: antiworld vs psygate parties in london.....at the SE1
1 room techno, 1 psy, 1 hardhouse, chill out, and other......one massive venue (indoor) and a big mix of people.......wow...!!!
result: IMHO the worst psy night in london.....flocks of techno fans (on md and co.) hypnotized by the psy room....moving from the ego filled, fashion centered, techno room to the colourful psy room; invaded by hords of big christian dior glasses, signed jeans, and lots of glowsticks, chewingums etc.....
our culture now (i hope), is more closely related to old psychedelic rock....or as rightly said to the tribal dances....at least for some...

They were completely different in the beginning and are getting closer every day, but who am I to burst your bubble.

PLUR, lol, unity right? We are one? Sure.
That’s probably the reason why UP and Boom are welcoming new stages to their venues, you are a very enlightened and clairvoyant chap, who knows what’s going on, but you seem kind of lonely though.

How sweet. What would you expect them to do, if the techno room is filled with ego?
Sure a psy fan never uses signed jeans, no way, he makes them with his own hands, out of a tree.
Pathetic.
that’s just awfull, chewingums? The nerve…

no its not, what gave you that impression? Skazi?
you on the other hand, seem to be a really open minded individual, who wouldn’t judge another person by the way they look, dress, or the music they listen, or the drugs they choose to do,
heil ups,,.. bolenath

You seem to be trying to avoid the inevitable
Or to put a pause in development and evolution for you own personal pleasure.
I know some thing should remain the same, but its impossible to avoid change.
At least now I see a completely different approach to these subjects from you. |

@ spasm
we, or better I, was talking about my own experience with techno muvement and trying to have a conversation. I have so many friends who enjoy this "world" (now judge this) as real travellers..and i really love em..but belive me or not FORTUNATELY there are some differences in our cultures (and i also love differences).
now go on and judge..or let it go and live
