Don't release your music. Use it for yourself in your DJ set's and live acts and have music that no one else have ! Top notch  |

It might have to come to that - tho I think it will come to trying and selling downloads on your site for cheap, and then touring to make most of your money - but thats just my crazy opinions, because the one thing that people have loved to see, and that has never gone away for thousands of year, is see a LIVE SHOW.  Thats something that cant be replaced.

Just bought me self a 2XCD Limited Edition of Chemical Brothers Singles 93'-03' and it had the "Copy Controlled" sticker.
Baaa, this is stupid!
Why?
I have DVD Rom and old CDRW in my PC. Also when i'm on the roads i listen to music with old Sony Discman. And guess what? Only on (new) DVD the CD works. So what am i supposed to do?
Well offcourse, disabled the "Autofuck (Play)" option and copied the CDs with Clone CD.
Now explain me why the fuck should i pay 89NIS (18 Euro) and in addition 2 Blanks just to play the Album on every player i use?

This is just a shot in the leg.
Yes sure, i've got all the Chem. Bros. Albums and most of the Singles but that's only because i'm blind fan and quite stupid costumer.
But please all the Label owners around, please don't consider this copy protection method cause it will only hurt you. This is lame.
BTW the Collection rocks. The new single is awesome.
And the DVD that was released with all the videos, interviews and Live shots is great as well.

in my opinion labels just need to release good music..
most of the music get to stores today isnt that good..
i but any compilation and album that i like
but there is maybe 5-7 in a year....:\
also lower prices will be great!... |

tape is nothing against mp3. it takes at least as long as the record is to copy it, and empty tapes also cost money.
and it didnt start because of the prices, before napster came up everyone bought his cd, and those who didnt buy much because of financial issues, accepted it and saved their money.

You obviously didn't read my post well.
How exactly do i piss against the wind if i pay for the original cd's only to find that they won't play in some of my players, and then to fix that i copy it to blank cd?
Sorry i can only guess you are one of those ignorant @#!@$% who work for labels and think they can fight piracy this way.
Let me write this well known cliche:
"If you can't beat them join them".
And another thing, if in the psy scene were
at least 10,000 Thiefs like me, i'm sure that the condition of the scene would have been much better.
My consciousness is 100% clear.
And you can ask my local Tower Records dealer.
