Sometimes I walk on the street and "serious" normal ordinary no rave people looking at me like I am an alien,other saying about ravers that they dont even belong as "normal"human beings,other saying that we are demonic people,or drug users,and general never heard a positive comments for our tribe...
why so much negetive propaganda for Ravers and trance music?
Could we change that to positive?
any comments be welcome!!!

Obviously the reason is plainly the fact that anything unordinary is disturbing in the mind of John Doe. It's another topic who has authority to rule what is unordinary, but John Doe simply thinks its him. |

I think that people are afriad of changes, and new things.. I guess that so called "normal" people wouldnt like to go on the street and see people that are dressed not like them, they are Different from them, its scary...

media has alot to do with this. they show raves in general as a drug parties with electronic music,now the "ordinary person" usually believes anything he/she sees on the news,this is why they think about ravers as drug users that just go to parties to use drugs. we know we're going also for the music but for them there is no difference.
I think the stigma is going to change only in the future,remember how in the 60's rock'n'roll was considered purely as drug music according to the media?

It's only MUSIC for christ sake, listening to psytrance doesn't make you more enlightened, unfortunately something a lot of people in our scene seem to think. If people in our scene continue constantly talking about "us" and "them", this scenes image will never improve in the eyes of the average Joe!

I know many psytrance listners who are aliens, their outfits, way of speaking is very radical and towards elitic anarchism or senseless utopic.
I know couple mates over here personally and they are not that kind so every ommunity has it's own freaks, not all psytrance listeners are strange. |

Obviously they are nothing more than ignorant fucks. Samson had long hair and guess what, he was the strongest Jew of them all. When some religious freak who was also my electricity teacher in high school told me that i should cut my hair cause i am a man i had to mention him Samson, Moses, Aharon, David, Solomon and 100 more very important and masculine males from the bible just for him to shut the hell up.
Same about the clothes.
Lesson in life: ignore the ignorants. Tasteless and boring people should not comment on your life style.

I look like a normal person. I wish I looked more freakky with dreads and hamp clothes  .. But nooo.. I had to look normal. Thinnening hair and shit If you look twisted or freakky. Dont complain, your lucky.
