Criticizing one artist doesn't mean that you don't respect him.For example i use to critisize artists that i admire and i don't pay attention to others that i don't like their work.So for me there aren't here bad people (who criticize) and good people (who defend someone).
p.s Let's hear to the new TIP World compilation.I smell sth good!

No but there's a difference between constructive criticism of music and personal attacks on somebody we don't even know.

who says you guys are talking behind his back? it wouldnt surprise me at all if he was on the forum once in a while. its gotta suck to have so many people hate you for absolutly no good reason at all. just because you dont like his music doesnt give you the right to be a complete ass. give it a break you guys.

i think everyone should get off their high horses of Raja Ram defense,,,,we are helping the poor bloke.,..maybe Stash Bag vol 4 can be of a better quality....if he reads this he will realise that a whole 30 or so people in the whole world think his latest offerings are crap, and he will surely make Stash Bag 4 much much better...right?
as far as showing disgust in artists....this is the risk artists take and have to endeur...through all genres and time...
for example i think infected mushroom are really good, but i will critise their latest offerings openly due to the fact i think their older stuff sounds much much better.....
its personal opinion and the right to express this personal opinion is utmost.
if you all try and take this away from us , cos you dont want us to say bad things about people, you are not upholding the idealization of FREEDOM and the right to choose and in essence you are destroying a intirgal thought process which i think is key to the whole psy scene
lets just remember that this scene belongs to no one, their is no God, no saint, no owner, its free....
and we may show are disgust or critise if we like...
as far as doing it behind his back... this happens in life all the time with media...so i dont think just because its Raja Ram he should be excused from critism....the media, on tv and in newspapers, critises goverments, world leaders, ordinary leaders, normal people all day , everyday without them being able to defend themselves...its fact.
anyways maybe we should all just shut up and go back to listening to those killer fullon tunes.

You guys who don't accept negative reviews...do you have any idea that EVERY sort of creativity really can improve from somebody else's point of view?
I just can't understantd these guys saying "it's not good or polite to complain". So, how are we supposed to grow up? Are we supposed to live in a Wonderful World of Trance, where everything is beautiful? Come on guys, we need to improve the scene and jus‚” bowing your head to whatever is released is not helping it.

of course it is ok if you dont like the album, and u say it... but IMO, it is just bitching, to complain about it... well nevermind..
but to talk bad about a person, and maybe just because he/she/them/you? dont like the newest compilation, well that is not good and very impolite!

Complaining and bitching will never help anyone including the artists. Constructive criticism on the other hand will but I havn't seen any of that in this thread. Well not about the music anyway.

Look, Raja Ram contributed alot to the trance scene, and he worked realy hard to get where he is!
Apperantly Raja Ram is playing what he (and others) concider as hits,
and thats it, theres nothing you can do about it!
No-one can tell a Dj what kind of music to play, he will play what he likes and what his crowd likes anyways..
So all of you STOP bitching over nothing, because not only that its an ugly thing to do,
and it shows no respect, youre not even commenting his actions and performances, you just dish and bitch!

Raja Ram is a one of a kind. His energy and enthusiasm for the scene and the people that are involved is immense. Yes he has been involved in some amazing and pioneering moments and he continues to be. Some great new projects in the pipeline, some of which the doubters will be won over with...but not every cd or project is the same. Stashbag's are a representation of his gigs at that time and the most successful tracks of that period. What he has put into this scene is unmatchable and it is with sad regret that we read such bitchy comments. To harp on about how he is too commercial and has lost the underground cutting edge is missing the picture. We are as a label in the business of selling cd's. We feed off Raja Ram and he feeds of the energy of the crowds that attend the parties. He is a mirror of the dancefloor. He is an entertainer and wants to entetain people...it is not top of his list to keep happy a few of the older crew who don't go to too many parties or buy much music....but to blast to the new generation..and to try and make a party ROCK! Check the Imagi:Nations cd's and see the variety of quality, diverse, sounds and artists on there and tell me that we aren't still trying hard to represent a broad crosssection of this vibrant, global, underground scene...I think it's still cutting edge, in fact, it's starting to go up a notch....there are more original ideas and artists are developing there own sounds more and more....and equipment is getting better...production quality is going up. However saying that,WE ALL must work harder to take it further and higher....
