You are being completely closed minded and not at all open to new forms of music.
It is true that some of the new acts on the night/dark side of psy are not taking the time to fully perfect their music, but there are a lot of new and emerging artists that are just kicking ass and making whole new sounds and experiences.
There are many styles and sub genres on the dark or night side of the music and you don't need to go and slam a whole side of the music that you just don't like.
And what the hell do you mean when you try to claim it's not psytrance? A lot of the underground "dark" music is WAY more psychedelic than some of the other genres.
Just look at the new Wizack Twizack or Highko. It's filled with layers upon layers of mind blowing and mental effects that make you have a brain trip without having to take any drugs to get there.
Tryambaka made one of the most psychedlic and brain twisting, mind expanding albums of the year, but it is in the dark and horror style so I'm sure many people dismiss it outright as being something to make them sick. That's the drawback of being narrow minded and sick in the brain, you miss all the things that others know and love about the dark side of psy.
The dark forest scene is experienceing an explosion in talents and new sounds, but narrow minded people like you and the others who keep bashing and trashing dark psy are too dumb to realize it.
If you want to see where the psy scene is growing and evolving just look at all the new dark labels and the new and emerging dark artists who are the experimental end of the whole scene.
Just cause you don't like it is not any reason to slam a whole genre and say all the slanderous stuff.
You are the scandal my friend, not the labels and the artists. Just because you hate it does not give you any right to spread the hate to the scene.
I would walk ten miles to a dark psy party rather than cross the steet to go to the club where they are playing the chessy and repetitive crap they call full on and "psy", which is actually just repackaged raver food for trendy little kids to go and be all cool and in the "scene".

@ Detox. My dear friend, i respect you for the label you run and i did follow all your releases. I enjoyed all of the compilations when they released but did not enjoy any of the albums you released. This is only honest feedback so that you know that i am not being biased to nightpsy or anything.
I feel we are being rather shallow when judging an artist by their/track name don't you think? I am actually quite fed up by the number of times i have seen this morose egg slinging. I have done it myself but i don't any longer. I only express opinions about music solely unless i am compelled to otherwise. Sadly my friend, you have done this for a very long time and i think its about time you too realize that people will always continue to listen to what they want to irrespective of what anyone thinks.
Zik/Horror Place and Orestis (who made AM Fear) happen to be from Greece and i urge you to trust me when i tell you that there is something in this music If you still don't believe me okay, we have our differences in personal opinions but lets not go down the alley of being this immature about something so non-trivial as this.
The truth at the end of the day being, every sub-genre of psy (sub-genres unfortunately exist) has its fair share of gold and shit. Its upto an individual to find what he/she seeks and how far one is willing to let their mind go. Comfort zones you know. Some like being pushed out of their comfort zone, while some prefer having their two feet planted firmly on Earth.
Each to his own at the end of the day. Arguing about who is better isn't going to be very conclusive. Lets live and let live ok

That's the real problem!
We realize that progressive trance and dark psychedelic trance is far more psychedelic than full on trance!
Popedelic full on trance is what makes the people think that psytrance evolution is finish...

Yeah, I agree. Matter of fact when I was trying to get a gig at a pretty nice and upscale club in my area, the manager was very specific about the psy I would play there.
He insisted that I only play full on and only raver style full on of the most purile poppy type possible.
I need the money right now, so I agreed to play what he wanted me to play. After thee weeks of this I ended up quiting because I just couldn't stand the stuff he kept wanting me to spin.
Skazi and Dali, Infected Shroom, and oh my god for real he had downloaded almost every psy remix he could find. In Mp3 no less and then insisted it would sound fine on his great sound system.

I dont know.... with most (not all)parties today i`ll get bored or even mad about the music (unless some dj would realy surprise me) and i`d just go take a walk in nature rather than staying and hearing the same boring prog./full-on/dark with no soul in it.
lsd wont solve anything it just makes you more aware... if the music sucks youll know it. if it doenst youre probably right and you will have a blast and "fall in love with trance" again.
I`m sure trance will keep evolving in both commercial and non-commercial ("underground")
directions. its just takes time. right now the scene is mostly concentrated on production and less on music, while the "dark" psy puts more emphasis on psychadelica and less on sound it`s still mostly based on sound and not music. i`m sure there are plenty of ppl out there concidering the huge amount of "Trance producers" popping up like mushrooms after the rain that are working and experimenting looking for something different and new. it will come it has too.
if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...
