perhaps you dont listen to enough music because todays music is way better than the 90's 303 all the time
and to tell you the truth psytrance never brought me any tears to my eyes.What is the music you listen to guys?

CRX your example with the Hellraiser track in my label was not a very wise one.Its like claiming that someone who commited murder is a serial killer.Doing something once has a different meaning that repeating the same thing all the time.
Track names are just track names and nothing else but when the same theme is used from some artists or music style when naming their tracks then something deeper is going on and probably what these track names respresent also represents the artsts/label views and i dont think that themes like death/horror/satan/blood/skulls/mutilations/zombies and such have much to do with psy trance.No further explanations needed i guess.
About me well i have cried during listening many tracks like Space Cat-Deep Rising and Power Source-Goaway just to mention two of them.

Detox, saying death has nothing to with trance is just too christian. lets remember that in other cultures (mainly where religion is not of tracendental nature l) death is a part of life and its a long travel. I think many of you know this and all the cosmovision involved in other cultures around death.
But in anycase i think thats not the aproach of those labels/artis.

1. its not finished, now is a era of searching. even good music can go under if floating among loads of shit. novadays there are many tools to search, put more effort and search and you will be satisfied.
2. people have what they deserve. sorry to say that but at most parties i see so many thougtless faces, tired bodies and heavy stoned heads not receiving any impulse or input from outside their physical or psychical beings. they are closed for any sensation except drugs. punch in face would be not enough to have attention, what about so gentle experience like music is?
3. all should listen to different kind of music and styles/genres. then your musical suffering will pass and die like supernova exploding thousands of ideas, discoveries, inspirations and finnaly will born precious musical satisfaction. try it.

I started listening psy about 8 years ago, then after 2 years i get tired, i walk in to prog, the i listen to it non stop for 2 years, then i got tired again. Only now that i lsten to almost alll genre to electronic music I can go back and forth without getting tired of any of it. Each one of it has a new suprise every time, sotmhing that the other cant give me. That is the magioc of electronic music family

KINO and Login nailed it. I tend to dive into a type of music and live with it for a couple years, then grow bored. And the answer really is to explore and broaden your musical experiences so that after you are 300 years old, you will have such a wide palette of music to choose from for every mood, energy or impulse you feel.
Psytrance doesn't owe you anything. It doesn't owe you years and years of evolving music. It may or may not evolve. Question is, are _you_ evolved? Have you broadened your musical ear to satisfy _your_ needs. That goes for artists as well as listeners.
