Mike, you are acting like a twat, yet again. I've seen your bs on oztrance for years and pretty sure you are banned from psynews. Probably soon to be everywhere lol...
Why are you even here, commenting, if you no longer go to psy gigs?? I couldn't give a fuck if you like metal these days.
The reason I singled him out is he was the only one obviously faking a Live set... (Duh??)
Suntrip guys were all djing.. Please tell me who, specially if Aussie, saw Suntrip guys Faking a live set with a controller as I know most aus ppl that would have been there  Why are you even mentioning Suntrip anyway?? Because you know I like them lol?
And dude, I've always liked that u like goa, but frankly your attitude lately is shit and you give Aussies a bad name. Seems you have personal frustrations to vent and you do it on psy forums? Please sort em out dude, or leave em out, whichever. |

I'm on here because I like the music. As far as I know you don't have to go to gigs to like the music and enjoy the forums?
Anyways, whatever man. Nobody gives a shit if Psykovsky was faking, he'll still get the gigs and the cash for them. Do you seriously think he'dgive a flying fuck what anyone on here says?
I for one having spoken with the man before know for a fact he wouldn't.
Secondly, my only issue with the scene is how many promoters fucked me over in Australia in the 90's & 00's with unpaid gigs & other bills for setting up and renting them PA gear.
And I'm talking a lot of money. This scene was, is and always be fucking shit gig wise because of the damned hippy promoters and selfish artist attitudes about their precious "art".

fighting over what is real live act! wake up, noone cares what happens on mainstage. even at Boom in 2012, the emptiest the mainstage was when the actual bands were performing. Post-2005 initiated crowd does not give a hoot about about bands it's all about the name and sound.
also noticed that most organisers don't give even half the effort or budget towards chill stage which usually features more classically trained musicians playing instruments. There is this festival happening in Spain where they shamelessly mentioned that all chill out acts need to first buy their ticket, then send in the demos to be "considered" to perform.
The psy scene does not respect the live musician in general, this argument about psykovsky yet again shows where attention still lies.

Read a lot of nonsense in this topic..
for starting: A real live isnt impossible, you just need to realize that a live action have nothing to do with making a music in real time, obviously sequencing an entire music in real time its almost impossible...
secondly: using ableton live and a midi controler you have everything you need to create a true live act, where you mix your music as live set and you can syncronize midi clips above the tracks adding cool sections to certain parts of the live...
third: this isnt so dificult if you do the home-work, if you make a minimal effort to perform well and if you practice...
whats the problem then? some people have afraid to fail, thats why they fake right? they dont want to look bad for the audience, and for the promoters, so they go easy way, pré-recorded or mixed sessions and push space on the start...
but again, with current technology wich makes everything super easy and notice, you dont even need to own the gear, most of this artists require gear for promoters, só if they really want to do stuff seriously they would work things at home and then simply turn on the gear and conect cables, nothing impossible...
its everything a matter of mentality, and when i see veterans who suposedly are all "gear, gear, gear... shit chat, and things like in my time we were serious, and know its everything easy for you youngsters" and you see them behave like cheaters too....
then what example are you guys giving??

Personally I don't care if he (or anyone) gets up onstage with a single audio file 6 hours long, as long as it stimulates my brain I really couldn't care less about the source. And the fact that he dances around and dresses up is more interesting than someone who looks like they're checking their email. So whatev's.
"Faking turning knobs" LOL. It's a knob. It goes in two directions. Please tell me more about how to genuinely turn a knob like a pro.
A lot of you artists should spend less time talking smack about other artists and more time actually making music. I don't see Psykovsky posting on obsolete forums and Facebook threads about you. Just sayin'.
