NO! That is called: insulting the audience!!!
I'm a big fan of Psykovsky but we don't have to be afraid to use the correct words.
If faking an Act is insulting the audience, I find it even more insulting the people who say he's doing something... you guys really have something left on your brain to not be seeing the all picture.
It's a fake act, everyone (should) know that and I'm not against that, IF it is a HONEST FAKE ACT

Wish he had a bandcamp for his earlier works to be bought digital.
Whilst I do love a real live set I do concede that the rift environment and sound system outways how live it is.
I kinda agree that having a continuous mix running on stage with no act would work well if there were amazing visual and deco/lasers etc. a well programmed set for 24+ hours to carry a complete journey would be awesome.
Probably no money for promoters though.

A few weeks ago I opened for psykovsky in Bombay. Was eagerly awaiting to see what all the twisting knobs frantically was all about. I was saddened to see Cubase open with each complete track layered one above the other full of fades (or maybe some fx). At the most he was cutting the bass (on the mixer) and he was using only one channel I believe on the mixer but was constantly twisting knobs from another.
Stood there in disbelief for a while. The guy who's album 'Debut' changed music for me was faking it. Heard a bit of his music for a while and left feeling rather betrayed I guess.

Why didn't you use your phone to take a photo or video? I'm just sayig that it's only your word & no other evidence. Even if what you say is true it only means he's like 90% of all other "live" acts in this genre. I've seen plenty of Ocelot doing the same . Actually they should change "live" to "triggering" because all the live acts do is trigger samples.

I would not like to put myself in the midst of some 'live set vs no live set' controversy. Rightly said, it is my word against his performance, but I thought I'd share my experience anyway. I have respect for his past productions & I don't think I could care less to snoop around his computer with my phone. Seems a little childish.
