Nothing at all exists. We are just one mind, floating in the formless void, creating little dream-universes to keep the Infinity at bay. Nothing is real until we make it real, by perceiving it.
Reality is what you make it, if you make it boring and dull its not the fault of Reality. Its your choice.

BUT I FULLY DISAGREE!

just beacause your perception and everyone elses its fake doesnt mean that dont exists.
matter is matter energy is energy maan!
What i think fits better with your claim would be.

Stan Grof, in The Holotropic Mind, puts forth the idea that there is no such thing as Objective reality. All that is real must first be perceived in order to come into existence. In a Universe devoid of ALL life, how can time be measured? How do you know everything is still real if there is no one left to see it for themselves? Assuming that it is still there is just that, an assumption. Unverifiable by default! You can believe what you want. I know what I believe. I believe Stan was on the right track. We bring Reality into existence by perceiving it.
This reality is the tip of an iceberg. When talking quantum physics people often make the assumption that these three spacial dimensions are somehow on the bottom, implying that the other dimensions are somewhere unreachable, beyond this reality. Ive come to believe that these 3 dimensions are in fact, the TOP. Like a crystal, growing from its matrix in the rock. And again and again, quantum physics points to what Dr Grof is saying, that the mind is responsible for bringing Reality into existence.
If something exists where no one can see, how does anyone know, for sure, without using faith, that it really does exist? Can you see the center of the Earth? NO! how do you know its there? FAITH! Faith proves nothing.

Intersting thread 
Imo music can definetly be psychedelic. In the same way that visual arts, poetry and just about any form of expression can be.
In order for the form of expression to be psychedelic both the sender and the receiver have to connect on a certainCvery subtle level.
For me, I know something is psychedelic (made with "psychedelic intention" and yes, with a certain ammount of faith in the invisible and inexplicable-in inspiration, exploration, operation in auto pilot) when my "spider senses tingle".
Isnt that what makes our love of this music so powerful? Drugs or no drugs, it can bring forth pure magic.
Besides these subtle processes the sound of the drum and rhythmic motion that comes with it can also throw open the doors of perception by themselves...afterall the nature of the "trance experience" is to feel and learn from within. Connect to that source behind the psychedelic curtain..to become one
Naturally music by itself is only the medium between a sender an a receiver...if a tree breaks and falls in the forest and nobody hears it....
Imo the music can only be "impregnated with the psychedelic" if the creator has the intention to do so. Then, if the conditions are right,it will be the psychedelic that flows through the artist impregnating the music...the psychedelic is infusion from another level.
This is what seperates Psytrance from the lame, soulless crap. Imo |
