if you thinkthe music is psychedelic then it is just that

different music opens up different doors for different people

I guess I'm wrong. Psychedelic music does exist. Because (some) psy-trance is imitating the effects of psychedelic substances. ok

why do you have to say idiot?

anyway where does "mind-bending" sounds come from?

can i mindbend you with a sound without you being on any drugs? i would say yes, but lets just asume you are on psychedelic drugs(mushrooms, lsd) would this mindbending sound be more effective? probably... but its hard to tell...

anyway, psychoacoustics, do we need to say much more?

psychedelic trance, in its right element can be very mindbending... a psychedelic experience, the mind have to work hard to even try to perceive whats going on...
as we normally cant put these sounds in context as we never heard them before, hence where "Alien sounds" come from...

sure there is lots of music with strange sounds, but not 30 or more of them in the same track...at a highspeed with lots of rhythm and stuff flying around.
Of course there is more factors that comes to play, individual things, ect ect..

i think its interesting how we can relate to sounds and from that make the music more psychedelic... like when you hear a track with a cellphone calling, everybody feels their pocket... this is something to draw advantage from when making psychedelic music...

hope we can discuss this more...

i just want to add that psytrance is maybe very far away from psychedelic music, cause if you listen to some chillout or chillbeats or experimental stuff you can get a very nice psy effect... so i must agree that much music can be psychedelic, or maybe like someone said, all music... still interesting to discuss what makes it psychedelic, even if we come to terms that its individual and experience dependent...

discuss...

what an absurd statement.....

first off the word "psychodelic" is purely in the EYE's of the BEHOLDER.....

or in this case the EARS of the BEHOLDER....

maybe try listening to other artists....

remember....

smile....

it works.....

things look and sound differently when you smile....

It's time to move on to the next step in the psychedelic revolution. We've reached a certain point, but we're not moving any more.

Psychedelic?... Describe?
I think there is much of Psychedelic Music around.. Sounds, Voices...
it could be everywhere!..
even in your own bathroom.

Anyway, the more rightfull question to ask is i believe , What is psychedelic for u?
Because i think that for some mind, one thing is or could trigger whatsoever part on your brain that u might describe it as a psychedelic experience or "Trance" either sober or on the influence of any substance which can only inrich the experience usually (depends on the user)
and for the other , it could just be annoying..
either its visual or sound....
i think there are alot of sites (by that i mean places for a view) that i consider rather psychedelic, then most other usual things that i see everyday.
and sometimes when ur walking unsoundly , in the middle of the night, in the middle of the desert.
u can hear pretty much psychedelic things...
know what i mean?...
