You are free to speak your mind of course, but "trying to show that drums is not music" is stupid. You can say that in your humble opinion drums is not music, but surely you can't expect people to take you seriously?           Me>You

agree and always thought so, if we speak of psy scene.

11:00 - 1:00 Chillout
01:00 - 3:00 Psytech
03:00 - 5:00 Dark
05:00 - 8:00 Progressive Trance
08:00 - .... Fullon

This will not only create a situation when everyone is happy with his/her own style but will open minds to other styles and rid of boreroom which always there when one style being played.

So you increase the bpm rating with darkpsy, and then you suddenly turn it lower with progg, after that you increase it again with full on?

I would change the positions between progg and full on...

Another option would be inserting progg firstly, around 00:00 to 3:00 or so...

About drums: drums are not melody. That is true. The thing is that music isn't only melodys. Drums are the beat.
One of the first signs of communication and form of music were drums.

Hertz is heavy techno with no melody!
Digital Witchcraft are deep melodic/tribal house!
You can't compare these because one produce melodies and others percussive layouts, since i believe music based on melodies then Digital Witchcraft will be my favorite if we speak of talent of musician. Loops maker talent is up to your decision, i think Hertz have more complex loops.

Why argue been started, simple because Oran, underestimated all house producers at once by saying "How can you even compare such talanted Sensient to all cheesy house producers". That was the idea, so i'm in.

Ok. Now I understand the situation; and you are right. There student have been a dissuasion or argue about it. Tow different style shouldn't be compared in anyway. Tech to tech. house to house.

Point i've based on was a standart, as any product should have.
Since music is no more an art, it is mass selling product, then standarts should be applied on it. Some pass it and some not.

It will be great, i can feel it. Just like George Lucas with his THX standard we'll have a board of important and intelligent #@%!^s that will check every release and will tell us if it's up to their oh so improtant standart and what's not. If the distinguished #$@%^s will find it good enough they will be more than happy to put their "THX" logo (after additional payment of course). Yes, standartization. That's what we really need. Stamps on the CDs. Good idea. What's next? ISO 9000?
