Nobody was spitting on anything. The fact that some label owners change their views and decide to explore other territories can be only beneficial. It's called forward thinking.

forward thinking ??? lool
i call that trend following... the real labels that thought forward are the ones that are trying to push this music for years now, no matter what the trends were (when these labels u call forward thinker where releasing the latest full on crap remixed by gms because that was the trend at that time)
u can now see de differences between the labels that do what they believe in no matter what people think, and the ones that just follow the path of fashion seeking for success and glory no matter what the music is, only the result and the succes count
if i remember well, crystal matrix did organize a festival in portugal last summer, but i don't remember seeing any progressive acts in their line up...

Who cares about labels? Everything is relative so stop complaining !!

For me psychedelic is Jefferson Airplane, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream and Derango But the term isn't reserved for a select few...

I also like Ghreg on Earth, Skinny Puppy and Coil. People would call them dark, but I don't call them anything, because labels are stupid and are merely used by marketing execs to determine listener bases.

House is cool, for me it sounds more and more 80s and italo disco but that's the way music evolves, in cycles.

BTW, Sensient is a great artist. Don't know what to call it, but it's makes my brain scratch

Funny thing is my posts been deleted from here, when i wasn't even swearing but Pavel's swears still in here. Strange, seems dual standarts to me.

Happens here all the time. Double standards. That's my opinion as well. Anyway, what pavel said is also not right. I think Sensient's new album isn't all that great either (not bad, just not great) and it IS jazz with farts to me. Maybe that's just a matter of TASTE???           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Which imho you got none
If I like Sensient and think he's a genious ( Which i very much don't ) does it mean i have no clear sense ? Why ? What makes you a musical maestro ? becuase you play a bit of piano or guitar, because you can read scores ?
To me it seems you're judging the psy scene/prog scene in a way that make no sense. maybe i'm just a fool but good music is good music i don't care if it's house, tracne, hip-hop, commercial, underground or whatevE!

And whats with all this oh yeah baby prog is so popular now and prog house is much more underground ? who gives a flying f*ck As a prog lover I'm happy that there is more & more music coming out that i can choose from, what i like i like and what i don't i don't as simple as that.
And I also love prog house but like in any other genere their's a lot of shit out there with in the prog house scene...

Someone said cycles... i think it's very true and there is nothing wrong about it imo
now prog is "IN" and full-on "OUT" i don't know and don't care... as long as i can choose my the music I like I don't care which label/artist/genere can deliver it

Cujorius One "Creating a second sun"

^^^^ Funny coincidence! I'm right now listening to Cujo's live in Hamburg from october and his sound has matured and developed but his groove is still there... Same way I've always loved it. Can't wait for this release!

You can't compare styles, but you definitely can see who has musical ear and who doesn't. We can't boil down everything to personal taste. Then ppl will wear ugly clothing, will act ugly and say it is just matter of taste if you don't like me then go away. This is what freaks do usually, normal human must see clear border between music and samples collection with destructive layouts "composed" by predictable matter.

Ask Sensient yourself, i'm sure he will say the same thing about his "music" because he knows that. When he knows that he has no musical sense some others think they are fucking Mozarts after two retard tracks on some 500 copies sold compilation when i can assure 90% of you here, ppl who never get in touch with sequencer can do the same without any trouble, you just think it is hard but its' not, just plain tricks, NO talent required, should be the sticker on our walls.
Talent needed to make music like OTT, Shpongle, Aes Dana or any other chillout project where the music is the main and not boom baam cheap kick tricks and some retard scales melodies.
Real progressive house which you call cheesy is exactly under defintion of music, since all melodies and atmospheres not only not cheesy but very creative and hard to make, i say that as musician. Just try yourself to make a tune, you will see that progressie house tune will take from you music more time even if it will be minimal tune like Jerry Bonham's Vispera, and make on other hand some psy progressive track and see that there you can use any thing you like, any retard melody with vocoder on it will fit, coz this style sucks, noone choose samples, noone care for nothing, just put and continue with loop, nothing creative or intresting. Can't explain that, but it's retard style, cheap progressive, fake or whatever you like to call it. Only Ticon and artists like them know to make this cheesy style sound somehow, professional, why? because they have musical talent!

It's like to call Picasso great painter after seeing only one picture of his with some abstract figure reminds face or ass, without to see his real paintings where you can clearly see/judge quality of his talent.

Taste is taste, but clear sense is clear sense.

I guess those of us who appreciate prog psy must have no clear sense at all, we should be locked up for our own good. Or perhaps you're just deluding yourself into thinking that your tastes are objectively the true and right ones. Hmmm.           Row row row your boats gently down the stream; merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream.
