oh yeah people, oran is right... psy trance is on another level, is the best music in the world, house is shit, you guys dont know what youre talking about.. We in the psy scene are the enlightened people, and its disrespect, its a blasphemy to talk about house and trance in the same level.. not to mention the fact that these classifications are very objective and fixed!

for sure disrespect toward musicians with real producer and musical skills , musician that work on harmonies and create their own sound instead of just stealing and ripping a jazz song and put it as a break , adding a loop on it(also comes from samples btw) , then u add his infinite classic fart sounds and hell yeaaah,u got it , sensient is the king of the world, revolutionnary music...

Sensient makes great music, and I find his use of his weird FXs and samples is very enjoyable, and quite original. Plus finding a good sample, placing it well in a track, coming up with interesting sounds ain't a piece of cake, and his music creates a very special atmosphere of bizarre psychedelic groovyness. Music is not just about melodies you know chong & nolightatend, so chill and stop bashing.

Yes they make great music, that's not the issue. Psychedelic? I guess each has his own definition but what is psychedelic about prog house? Yes, the music is good, I know, I agree, but then all good music is psychedelic. So the term becomes pretty useless if used in that fashion.

I find it impressive how people think they got monopoly on the word psychedelic...
as I said many times, imo prog house can be millions of times more psychedelic than whatever 'psy trance' music that most people here listen to, which I find dull, boring, predictable and not at all psychedelic
and who are you to say im wrong? I think its much worse to say that this music called psytrance is psychedelic than saying some prog house is psychedelic...
accept other opinions as just as correct as yours, and I accept yours too

Hmmm dunno, it's just that if you take ordinary house, we can agree that it's not-psy right? Now for me some of the prog-house I've heard (and that's not alot heh) is really not far from house, with some trancy elements thrown in, but I can't really detect any references (musical, FX, quotes or others) to the psychedelic dimension , that's the basis of my point. But could you recommend me a few albums of prog-house that are psy? I'd be very interested in checking that out, cheers 
PS: It's not as if I'm not a defender of isra morning full-on. When I think psychedelic, I think rather Shulman, Rinkadink, Entheogenic, OTT, early Infected, Scorb. When you listen to tracks by these artists, there can be no doubt what the subject matter is... altered mind states. Nobody was spitting on anything. The fact that some label owners change their views and decide to explore other territories can be only beneficial. It's called forward thinking. You can't feed the people with same sounds for so many years.
Anyways you can still chose from dozens of other full on labels out there that recycle their yesterday's ideas. Good luck, and don't forget to turn off the lights when you leave.
