I spin

full on(soft, melodic or good?)
dark psy(full onish, insane & deranged)
goa(israeli, psychedelic, twisted)
progressve(house, trance, electro, psy, tech)
Chillout(anything that makes you chill)

I only have older sets online, all available through isratrance threads, so I will throw them at thy feet. My technique is always improving, I think you should be able to hear the difference from the house/progressive one and to the dark psy one (or the full on one) clearly.

Progressive House / Deep Trance (first set I ever recorded, and played, in that genre)
http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/70865/forum/41

Full On / Progressive set.
http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/74215/forum/41

Re-Evolution Night Demo set (too short to be a set I think, about 70mins)
http://www.mixupload.com/index.php?act=mlite&CODE=playsong&s_id=3823

I will take on pr0fane any day in a battle, I think we enjoyed playing together last time, I sure did pr0fane got into djing because he wanted to and was heavily encouraged by me to do so (he had become so infatuated by the music, it would be shame to let that kind of insanity go to waste) His first ever dj set was played at one of my birthdays, and had loads of tasty progressive in it, and even a happy birthday song to space me out (my head turned all read I think).

Other than that, most of the competition we do is on who can make the biggest farts - Im ahead of him in noise, while he sets new standards for smelly farts. Its an ongoing battle between two seasoned veterans :-P

well, there are no electro sets there, its

progressive house and deep trance
or
progressive & full on
or
dark psy

The nighttime demo is @ mixupload, I think you need to create a user there, and then you can "podcast" the mix, which actually means you download it from the site. Its only available on mixupload.

Although I'm not keen on the idea of preplanned sets I can see Krells point.
Nothing wrong with having planned it as long as you don't try to stick to that plan

I think that personally if I tried to plan ahead it would interfere with my judgment at the party.
For me DJ'ing is about trying to channel a certain energy and for that preplanning would a hindrance, you have to be here and now as much as possible.
I don't really care if the mixing is live or not, the track selection is no 1 for me. If that would be fixed ahead the DJ might as well bring a ready mixed CD and put on IMO.

The topic reminds me of the tagline for the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?":
"They have a plan, but not a clue."
I guess that sums up my opinion about DJ's who plan their set and stick with that plan.

I got one question to those who plan their sets and stick to it. If anyone do stick to their sets 100%

What do you do when you realize that the preplanned set does not work?
Because of situations such as:

Your scheduled play time has been moved and instead of 3am you now play at 8am (an example).

The crowd seem to loose the energy from your set.

That can be a real bummer if your a 'planner' like myself & it actually happened to me last weekend at a party where i was all prepared to play a night full-onish set with the clutter & the chaos!! Had my songs short-listed and everything-- timing got all messed up n ended up playing around 4am but then again the audience needs to have a little 'faith' in the DJ coz we dont just spend centuries on research for nothing!!
