DJ Krell(Virus Tekk/Jester Rec) "Twillight" set.
Download here.: http://www.doei.org/misc/DJ_Krell_-_Twillight_-_29-10-05_-_VBR.mp3
My last set was a slow mellow progressive set, this time I have recorded a full on set.
The perfect setting for this set is the early hours preferably outdoors late summer when the sun has just come up, it offers a bit of everything - mellow, psychedelic, funky, groovy, melodic and melancolic tracks ranging from 138 - 144 BPM weaven together in a progressively evolving flow.
You also get a taste of one of the tracks from the upcoming "Shades of Light" compilation out very soon on Virus Tekk Records towards the end of this set.
I would like to say thank you to Elec3 for allowing me use one of their unsigned tracks in this set - Thanks:-)
Overall I am very happy with the mixing, though there is always room for improvements.
Enjoy

Amazed. This is really good mixing - lots of variated ways of beatmatching your way through. Sure you did this on your old CDJ-100s? He he. Must have been a hell of a task getting through this in one take. The flow is good, it's like this set takes a long journey through all the corners of Psy Trance. A bit long for my taste when listening to it on the computer, but I got through it anyways.
Good long beatmatches, good EQ-control, good level of volume, near-to-perfect transitions which a more relaxed because of the breaks (in contrast to my more explosive transitions) - and I like it!
I'm impressed. Really! It doesn't make sense you don't get booked that often in your own country. Krell is a hidden gem.

Great set for sure. The flow seems very well-considered, and even though there where a few tracks that I didn’t like that much, I consider the quality very high throughout the set. And the technique is close to flawless.
In my opinion the best part is the intro and the finale with Protoculture ("Oceanic" is one of my favourites from Protoculture), Silicon Sound and a surprising track by NASA.
Great job

H o l y _ p h u c k!
Now this is a good set! Obviously there are a handful of tracks that I don't really like - but in the general consensus, this set is indeed nice! Yeah, this might look like a Danish conspiracy, but it's not - this is the best set I've heard in a while... This is exactly how I like a set to be built... You vary between older and newer tracks - sweet! You vary between famous and completely unknown tracks (The two Mandala Record tracks I didn't even know existed!) - Very cool! Well-tested crowd-pleasers vs. unknown tracks is a great combo! Also, you shift back and forth between musical styles - without loosing the ever important flow! Fuck man - I'm impressed!
And I haven't even talked about the mixing yet - which about half way through sounds pretty flawless to me... Dude! This is some good shit - a highly recommended download folks!

@All who commented.
Thanks for the encouraging words - I had my doubts anyone would be up for listening to a long 2h45m DJ set.
It would be much easier to post something shorter, but, I really think DJ sets need to have some length to them... So, I appreciate you all putting up with the back pains of sitting at the PC for so long ;-)
Glad to see the ideas for flow worked well in practice for you guys as well - The thing about DJing that makes me happy is being able to share this sort of taste in music with others. Having something in common with people
I dont even have to tell you guys "support the artists, buy the music" - Because I know all of you guys do this already
Next up, I will be doing a nighttime mix/set - Once my ears dont ring so much.
Best Wishes
Krell
