i was just informed that this thread was actually split off from another thread and that the first post was not the original post of any thread so much as the first one diverted from the overall party post.
so i'm Sorry for calling you a dick Soset.
otherwise i guess folks can think and say whatever they want to as they do anyway- i was just pissy if the thread on this party was opened with what i perceived as a needless tag on penta etc.
also i wasn't there.
also i probably woke up bitchy so sorry.

Teleomorph, i think the track with voval sample is "LEAVE A MESSAGE" ya? But to me big first track by Penta was "COLLABORATION". Those are two introduction tracks from penta that anyone who don't have enough substance to qualify Penta should listen to. Great tracks that rock the time.

Yeah the bass was higher than the mid/high freq's, thats one of the first thing I understood(altho I didint pay attention to the speakers and whatnot)which caused the sound to be shitty, and i've told this to the TDC people ,and they said they will make it right next party.
seriously if all the people who complained about Penta come along and say "yeah your right penta was actually awesome it was just the sound problem" this will be a very funny flame war           We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home.

It's a little sad that some of you resort to personal attacks when the whole purpose of this sort of discussion is to ensure that you get the parties you deserve. After all, these parties are for you, not for the organisers and not for the artists, and you should be prepared to speak up if you are not getting what you desire.

None of you should accept second best, because if you do so then you are compromising your own integrity, and wasting your time. If you are not aware of how incredible an experience these parties can be, then perhaps you do not understand this. A trance experience is far more than just listening to a track of music, and consequently requires a more complex and balanced interplay of many different elements. When some of these elements are lacking then the whole experience suffers.

For those of you who attended the Alladin Project party on Friday, as well as the Penta party, I am sure that you can appreciate the difference between the two. That's what I expect a trance party to feel like. All the djs were paying close attention to what was happening on the dance floor, and reacting accordingly. The energy in the whole club was incredible.

It is possible to use these parties to achieve epiphanies, and thus to open your minds to new possibilities. So why not take advantage of this and all work together in making it a reality.

As an aside, for an interesting article on trance,
