Did you miss most of 'psy-prog' in the last year? It all sounds exactly the same, they all use same beats and loops. If you like this album then look up other ex-psyprog, now electro/techno acts. Perfect Stranger was always one of the best but there's still a ton of that stuff out. Follow the money trail and you'll find a ton of this stuff

Well, I listened to it again after some time, and I think I finally get it. IMHO the secret is to play it extremely slow, like 125BPM or even much less, depending on the song. Its like the low BPMs give the tracks room to breathe and develop all their potential. Its a shame to run through these tracks at 130+ BPM and miss all the hidden treasures. The sometimes annoying basslines I mentioned in my earlier review sound a lot better like this as well.

Anyways, my initial reaction was a bit harsh, it is a very good album if played slower.

I've only heard the album once and it impressed me with it's crystal clean and as my friend said,
surgery cut sounds in a hyper sterile environment.

Truly a masterpiece in perfect sound.

Stellar stuff. His first album was pretty cool already, but this takes the cake. At first listens I didn't really get into it, but after a few more listens it got to me. It needs a good soundsystem or great headphones. After that it's nothing but bliss all the way.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. Well, like many others around here, it took me this long (six months) to get a proper opinion on this one.

I still prefer his Changed album, but this one deserves to be honored as another benchmark album, specially because its non-similarities with his previous work.

I'm enjoying this each time more, Yuli really reinvented his music and rediscovered his talent even when we all know he never lost it.

Congrats, the 3 last tracks are the ones I'm enjoying the most right now, but this will probably change, which is characteristic of good albums: the favorites change because they're all very good.
Respect!           .

...I don't mind not going to Heaven, as long as they've got Coffee in Hell...

For me this was always the two major things about Yuli's music- it is best appreciated with time and with good listening environment.
Only then you can really appreciate the little things that make it so good.

This album is still playing a lot here. My very good work companion.           ---------------------------------------------
