I'm not exactly sure what you want me to elaborate on.

Basically, the big computer manufacturers aren't going to list every single spec like memory timing or the speed of the video memory because it's information the majority of their customers don't care/know about. They're not willfully withholding it in an attempt to screw over the consumer, the information is freely available if you look for it.

My point was that the guy who cares about memory timings and video memory speeds is either going to inform himself of what he's buying, or most likely not go anywhere near a major computer brand.

the thing about laptops is that the most companys built them in the same factory in china or whatever...there are just different labeled.

As far as i know the only companys with own factories are:

toshiba, ibm , sony, dell,

stay away from acer !!!, asus , msi, samsung and all the crap

Sorry it was not correct, i found this..sorry for the bad translation:

---------------------------------------------
On mobile computing market, there are many brands,
but there are only relatively few manufacturers who produce for it.

This is because well-known firms (such as Fujitsu Siemens Computers) buy the notebooks slightly modified or buy them produced "personally" at Original Design Manufacturers (ODM) to sell them later under their own brand.
---------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------
"True" notebook manufacturers :
(in order of production numbers, if known):
---------------------------------------------

* Quanta (for virtually all notebook vendors, currently the world's largest producer with about 11 million devices in 2004)

* Compal ( manufactor for IBM, Dell and Hewlett-Packard (formerly Compaq), 7.7 million units in 2004)

* Inventec (3.3 million in 2004)

* Wistron (formerly Acer)

* Asus (sells about 50% of production under its own brand, as a contract manufacturer for including Sony and Apple, while also ODM devices on offer, a total of nearly 3 million in 2004)

* Arima (1.8 million in 2004)

* MiTAC (1.4 million in 2004, also in the semi ruggedized offer)

* Uniwill (1.2 million in 2004; in the summer of 2006 bought up by Elitegroup)

* FIC (in some regions as a trademark act, 700,000 in 2004)

* Clevo (Alienware manufactures and Voodoo gaming laptop, even for Gericom, 550,000 in 2004)

* Elitegroup / ECS (formerly known as own brand, since mid 2005, only ODM)

* Twinhead (in Germany also represented as a private brand)

* MSI (previously worked for IBM, now represented as a separate brand in Germany Micro Star)

* LG Electronics (by the end of 2004 for IBM in South Korea under the brand name LG @ IBM operates. Manufactures and developed alongside IBM for Compaq, HP and other high-quality manufacturers notebooks. Since about 2005, with its own brand and own production on the market)

* Vestel (The group belonging to the Vestel Digital manufactures since 2005 Notebook Barebones under own brand as well as ODM)

---------------------------------------------
Many well-known notebook manufacturers buy laptops mainly with their own design, manufactured by the firms above.
(order by sales figures in 2004, again not quite accurately):
---------------------------------------------

* Dell (2004: 7.9 million)

* Hewlett-Packard (2004: 7.4 million)

* Toshiba ( "inventor" of laptop PCs, produces an estimated half of the notebooks theirselves, the rest coming from the above producers, 2004: 5.8 million)

* Lenovo (formerly IBM, 2004: 4.3 million)

* Acer (distinction between self and ODM design is particularly difficulty, as some models TravelMate 800 are also known as OEM versions available for producers in 2004: 3.9 million laptops)

* Fujitsu Siemens Computers (Life Books originated and own designs are also well made. The Amilo series are all bought (ODM). 2004: 3.1 million)

* NEC (in Germany Packard Bell, 2004: 2.1 million)

* Sony (2004: 1.8 million)

* Apple (2004: 1.7 million)

* BenQ (formerly Acer, now independent, some devices come from its own designs, others are eg Mitac bought, 2004: 100,000)

---------------------------------------------
Only very few notebook manufacturers produce mainly for theirselves:
---------------------------------------------

* Panasonic (and even developed in a factory by the parent company Matsushita manufactured in Kobe)

* Samsung (was recently a part of the outsourced Asus production, also known as ODM manufacturer for Dell (Latitude Subnotebooks)

* LG Electronics (LG supposedly produces and develops all notebooks theirselves)

designed for audio and nothing can compare to the power.

I found an ASUS, with the SAME specs, even with a more faster processor, for 700 hundred less. The only difference is that it dosnt come with the Audio Optimized XP that comes with sonica, but this we can fix.

check it out

I m thinkin about this one too

But the price is the same as sonica, but I really like the desing of this notebook, buy I really liked the spill-resistant keyboard.

Anyway i have already 800 bucks, i think in two weeks i will have to make my decision           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

OK, if anyone interested i found the answer!
OS X is 64-bit system by nature, that's why there no limitations on ram usage, it's also explains why mac's runs faster. So, the idea to install winxp 32-bit on mac is brings nothing!
