Hey people,
I have numerous friends around me who always ask me, what is trance? Is it like techno? Electronic music? Can you play me something?
That last question is what i come to you for. If someone asks you to play him or her a psytrance track, just to see how it is. What would you pick? What track? Why?
It's a rather open question, so please post on!
I haven't made up my mind yet about this but im sure your replies will help me out
Until next time,
SHAWARMA!

I know alot of people would say "Hallucinogen - L.S.D"...

but the beauty of PsyTrance is that it develops all the time...

So today I would play maybe something with Rinkadink or N3xu5...
or y not something with Hypersonic

The problem is that you will probably get as many different tracks as answers posted here..

Just play 'em your favourites..           .

I know
but think about it, it's a deeper question than it seems. There's more to it than just what u like best.
Some songs i find to be more... complicated maybe than other songs.
Would you tend to play a "simpler" track or something less "agressive" maybe...
It's a difficult question i think...           "I went to Goa and all i got was this lousy superiority complex."

Well depends on the person you're speaking with..
Some say to me "hein ? you listen to goa ? haaaan that sounds soft !"
>> So a rough tech trance tune might make'em change their opinion

Some say to me "Psychedelic trance, uuh ? Pfiooou music for crazy people.."
>> Then something more proggy and you can see them start to shake the hips

To each one is vibration           .

I think an album which combines both the new and the old would be Droidlock Elephantronika. I think this one could easily represent a bit of the full on, a bit of the dark and a bit of goa. A good representation of all

trop mdr kakoo...
i guess it's kinda special for me cuz most of the people i know tend to favor hip hop over any other kind of music...           "I went to Goa and all i got was this lousy superiority complex."

good choice i think actually.
i usually show something by simon to ppl that are not into trance.
people who didnt like it at first listen are trancehaters now, but the ones who liked it are die hard trance freaks now.

huh ? this is nothing about being the biggest.
Im not trying to show that person who's the most popular or what's the best.
Im trying to show a nice, not to "hard", not too complicated... a fun track... it's hard to describe...
I guess what's a good introductory track...
At my school in computers class before i graduated people somehow all ended up listening to GMS - Juice and loved it...
