remember people... as much as i care about what you each would play, im more interested in the reasons for that choice           "I went to Goa and all i got was this lousy superiority complex."

I'd pick something off X-Dream - Radio.. perfect mix of techy, groovy, and psychedelic sound.

Hallucinogen - LSD sounds way too cheesy now.

          ..it's just another party..

honestly, it took me a long time, maybe a year, before i could identify different styles...

i mean, i could tell there was a ^difference^ between artists, but to many people it will all sound the same.

i think the idea instead of "play them this track" should be "take them to a party" because that's a big part of what it's about           sound is vibration

If they wanted to know what ‘Goa’ sounded like i would probably play them one of the tracks off the Pleiadians' IFO album - or maybe an Astral Projection track like 'Black and White'.

If they wanted to know what ‘psy-trance’ sounded like i would play them Benza's 'The Ascension of Smeagol' or a Hallucinogen track.

If they wanted to know how much variety ‘psy-trance’ can have, i would play them Infected Mushroom’s 'Dancing with Kadafi' (that has about 3 different styles in it itself).

...And if they wanted to know what ‘dark-psy’ sounded like - i would strangle the cat whilst playing a slide-whistle

Seriously though, there are so many genres and styles (and styles within styles) that you could never sum up psychedelic electronic music with just one track.

Peace, respect - and no offence           Am i the only one who believes in solipsism?

Oh and i believe that should be take the ups, not take the highs... right?

yes that should be it

its a little dangerous to rely on my memory these days

nonetheless .,, dont forget to turn up the volume to the max .,, and then see the reaction on your frenz faces
