Thanks. Then maybe I did not understand you right, when you wrote "Gunter no need to be an ass about it, (...) Wait a few days and you can continue being an ass wipe & download the tracks illegally somewhere I'm sure. " I thought this means, that you are thinking, that I am an asshole, who illegaly dowloads music. But my English is very bad, so maybe I did not understand right. If I understood right, well, then I think your back pain might be an excuse for such harsh behaviour. You should do strength sport and built up some extra muscles in your back, if you haven`t done it yet.
I also have Padmasana`s first album in original, which is pretty cool, but I am also not extremly euphoric about it. It is just pretty damn good. |

love the new album. got it two days ago, been spinning it in loops since then.
yes its different ride compared to the first one, more diverse and complex.
love the first track to bits, also the dubtechno tune is the shit. track two is ok, nothing that touches me deep though. last track is nice as well.
the mixing and mastering is top notch, very dynamic and spacious, yet crystal clear. igot that high end sound oozing all over the place. especially track one makes you crank up your stereo. l o v e l y.
a well worthy follow up, having in mind that "a distant star" from the first album is something you may be only able to pull off once in a lifetime in all its divinity.
great stuff !! fully recommended.

Stunning album! Beautiful minimalist composition, yet still such a deep sonic experience. Pleasure to listen to indeed, best mix and master of the year for sure!
Leaves you wanting more, though it's not tiring for the ears and head so can hear it more than once each time. |

can´t recommend it enough. liked it from the beginning but since then it really grew on me. fucking ace release and already a timeless peace of art!
hope the next album will not take them another 15 years, lol.
file under: the good stuff.

Gio went off in Facebook last night. It seems that in 6 weeks of CD only sales no piracy, but almost instantly when it was out on bandcamp it was available on at least 8 Russian sites.
What a joke.

quel surprise.
at least he did sell alost 500 copies directly.
but its not exactly breaking news that by releasing underground music one cannot make a living.

Just ordered one of each Padmasana album. Great stuff indeed! Cant wait 'till they hit my mailbox
words People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey... stuff.

i agree about album lengths, although i think 45/50 mins is more apt for electronic music. i think you get a better focus of sounds and albums are more likely to have a certain quality or have a certain personality. this is probably from growing up in the age of tape when you had 45 mins per side. always seemed like the perfect length. Most ozric albums are between 45-50 mins. nuff said!
but plenty of people like long albums and record labels probably like to offer them so that people think they are getting value for money. |
