My lad slept for 3 hour so I listened to all Padmasana tracks I have in order of release twice. Sun shining through the window & I lay on my bed, really nice chilled time. Took me really deep, meditative state. Almost asleep but but not quite so it really was good feeling to wake & have energy, even my bad back felt so good afterwards           Cuntus Maximus.

yeah, it's about 6 dB quieter than your average squashed shit these days, but if you turn your stereo up 6 dB to compensate, then the transients are just insane. kicks like a mule. all tracks are limited, just with a little bit of discernment. one track all ITB, other three went through D/A/D outboard chain. anyone tell which?

I am gonna take a punt with track 4 being ITB (although on the cover it's part II of track 3)           Cuntus Maximus.

Loving it. Proper trance music like only Gio can make. I say grab it!           ---------------------------------------------

There's a Youtube teaser you can see on the last page of this thread. Put it on HD quality and put some headphones on!

You'll just have to wait for the digital downloads then. Should be available soon enough on iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp etc.           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

Hey Gunter no need to be an ass about it, it's not our fault Gio is trying to increase sales & decrease piracy. Personally the youtube clip or listening to the other Padamasana tracks put up illegally on youtube etc. should be enough. Wait a few days and you can continue being an ass wipe & download the tracks illegally somewhere I'm sure.           Cuntus Maximus.

Listening to the youtube teaser, the first snippet contains meditive speech...which can wear thin after a few listens..unless you are using this for therapy...the 2nd snippet reminds of me of the blissfull chilled brillianze of the padmasana sound scapes (length is 17 minutes). The 3rd snippet' 'vibration', sounds a bit out of place for a padmasana being a raga dub style, although prob well produced. the total length of the album about 44 mins...more of an EP much like the last makyo release. When its out on bandcamp we can prelisten to 128k full length.

"vibration" is my fave track on the album. and it IS an album. i personally think that 39-44 minutes is the perfect length for an album. there's generally WAY too much filler on things since the CD was invented, especially within electronic and dance music. 39-44 minutes is the perfect length for two sides of vinyl, and for laying back horizontal with headphones on!           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

OzMike. You had a bad day, I suppose. I just said, that I can`t make any judgement based on that short teaser. I am not sure, if I should buy or not, because I can`t judge. It`s just too short for me ... so please, calm down .. thanks for the hints of the others .. I will wait then
And, even if OzMike might be disappinted now, no, I am not going to illegaly download that music. Sorry, Ozmike. I actually never downloaded music. Negative effect: too many CDs make moves a lot harder.

Hi Gunter

I was not promoting illegal downloads, like you I've never done so either except for old Pulse 6 CD as my current computer for some reason would not rip the CDs but I do have the CD of it.

Anyway, yes bad days of back pain so maybe I should've been nicer. The first two tracks on this are very nice, not as deep or amazing as the earlier Padmasana works but still IMO a lot nicer than most ethnic based Chillout around.

Thr track 3 is an interesting dubbed house track with the guided meditation samples which I questioned at first but then with lights of & headphones on it made sense. The final track is a short ambient piece which is far to short and this dissapoints as it's very nice and even another 2 minutes like a been a little more enough.

It is what it is and it's a very good follow up to the first CD.

While it's short by psy trance/chill standards it's actually longer than most pop/rock/metal albums or the same length which IMO is enough.

Cheers

Mike           Cuntus Maximus.
