The Padmasana on Facebook has announced recording & mastering are completed!
They are looking for graphic designers keen to do artwork.
I personally think the first release is about as amazing as tribal space dub can get, really hope this keeps that vibe

Nope, the mastering isn't finished, because I'm the mastering engineer, and haven't received the tracks yet! Should be here by the end of the month...
From Gio:
"New Padmasana album recording and mixing complete. Looks like it will be our next release on Dakini.
BTW, we are looking for artwork. Any graphic designers/artists who are interested and familiar with our music, get in touch."
Can't wait to get stuck in to this! Felt very privileged to master the last Makyo album. The Purnima remix album, Jinniyah EP, and new Makyo album should also pass through here before the year is up!

i am so looking forward to that album.
been revisiting the original first album a lot lately and i must say its impressing how sonically well produced that piece of art is.
sounds fantastic on my stereo, and my stereo shows any flaws.

yeah, i lived in japan for 12 years, so have known gio for ten years or more. he introduced me to ishq, which i shall forever be thankful to him for!
i've mastered everything on dakini for the last few years, it's great to have a good working relationship with them, and with gio's own material he's a stickler for great sound/wide dynamic range, which is always a pleasure for me as i'm in total agreement! the makyo, "purnima" album has extremely little limiting, for example, but sounds incredible when you pump it up/play it on a good system/pa etc. we are very proud of that one!

i will repeat myself in saying that the first albums production and mastering is effin stellar-
i seriously hope both content and production of the new one live up to these standards!
