Neuromotor (Frederic Talaa) is out with his third album, this time on the Greek label Acidance Records. This time we get a really fat booklet, where Frederic has written a lot of philosophies about various political stuff etc. As usual he delivers the darker side of full on psychedelic trance.

Neuromotor "Bloody Reality" Acidance Records 2005 (ACIDCD014)

1. Bush The Antichrist
2. Children In The Dark
3. Dirty Society
4. The Love Cyclone
5. Par Amour Pour Une Femme
6. Forget The Rules
7. World Of Chaos
8. Children Back In The Light
9. A Better World
10. Fight For Human Rights

In this album we get pretty typical full on psytrance from beginning to end. The kind of full on we have heard quite a lot of the last few years, and which I am getting quite tired of. These tracks are not of the melodic morning trance kind, but fits probably best at night. For me, these tracks get easily a bit boring, because I can’t find very many fresh ideas in it. A lot of the ”nagging” sounds and cheap take offs he uses here, is used a million times before. And when he also throws in the awful guitar trance style, such as in track 2, I just get fed up. I am sure some of these tracks might fit well on a crazy dancefloor in Brazil and other places where this kind of trance still does good, but for those of you who have listened to full on trance for a while, this will probably become a bit outdated pretty fast. Still, his tracks goes a bit more psychedelic and far from as fluffy as for example israeli full on at the moment.

This album might work for some full on djs at night, but for the regular psytrance home listener, this will probably sound a bit like a drop in the sea of full On. Bottom line: One of the most boring albums I have heard lately.

dont even try to intimidate our users from giving their opinions here! his words were honest, descriptive and respectful. the fact you affiliate yourself with acidance rec. is the #1 red light here... and if anyone has a bad attitude, its you.

I agree with PKS. This cd is boring to the bone. And stop with all the political references already. Is this a new trend or something? I mean, one compilation wasn't enough? Politics and psytrance don't mix well in my opinion. Anyway, back to the music. Let's hear some more opinions. This cd, to me, was boring to the bone. I really got the feeling of same, same, heard it before when listening to this. Not one track sparked out and got my attention.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

I just got down to hearing this album. I was very disappointed with what I heard. You all may think im following the little trend that this thread has so far... but it seriously could've been alot better.. specially coming from someone like fred. Anyway, hope future releases are better.

noooo ! this is really groovy and down to earth .. fred has really put his heart into this album .. children in the dark is a dedication to all the children in india who work endlessly without a square meal ..and then theres children in the light ..

i like the ideas that came to fred and his music is manifestation of that thought .. and the music speaks volumes ..

just keep going fred .. this is the way

acceptable the comments for the music. The ear is yours and u choose what u gonna listen. But what about the artwork? Do u think is a trend? Dont u think its a way to pass some msg to the people? what is good artwork for u? dont u get bored with mama shiva and 3d layouts? without a meaning are better for u? we dont want to use the artwork just to fill the cd mate..we are trying to speak about humanity, about reality and how things are in nowdays..might u dont like this..its ok..u choose...           opinions are like assholes...everybody has one!

hmm i dont agree with the meaning that its another typical full on release ...for me neuromotor is one one the artists that is moving and developing constantly with his sound he isnt one of the "every album" all the same guy..ithis one full of groovy funky beats with psychedelic smashing dancefloor sounds and leads..a good one dedicated for the dancefloor and also well produced from an openminded guy who is moving...and for sure far away from typical full on ..would be interessting how u compare this to "typical" full on :-D
