The human brain is a mystery. A labyrinth of dark paths that you are scared to walk alone. You can't easily change the way someone thinks and acts. Of course all that chillout advice should do the trick, it's not nice( I'm being gentle here..) trying to change her taste. Maybe psy doesnt messes up with her mind like it does with ours.
Also.., try to listen her. Have a great album playing and just sit the two of you talking. In this way her mind will open to new aspects.
(BUT!!, I can't assure it'll work!)

 Oh stashbag...! Acid is always a must when having a psy adventure in the magical forests & woodlands of England - i rmember being blown away one of my first ever experiences in psy. still think about it to this day however the missus & 'aceeeed' arent the best of friends at the moment as she doesnt believe in psychoactives as it messes with her sunflowers...  ive taken on board your views and most pertinent they are too, my friend - of course it would be selfish for me to try and change someones taste - but you see im doing this for her mental health As im sure her life would be more fuller and enriched with the influx of psychedelic trance (achieving that: "look ma, no drugs!" effect) it worked for me! And im still working....
