haha, amazing...you make a very interesting point at the end of the one video that no one really teaches this stuff. I think you might have just made yourself the messiah of bringing abelton to psy and making it really live
I didnt really blame producers before seeing your videos for not really playing live. i mean if your using cubase or logic this doesnt make sense. no excuses for any live psy act to not use abelton, that was just sick, like a truely live instrument being played.

gr8 man , there's only one thing i can add, and i've seen you don't have in many of the environments where you perform, it might seem stupid and obvious but often isn't:

a table high enough to allow you to perform without leaning down, you will spare yourself tension to muscles and bones of your back, often is something very easy to have, just doesn't come to mind when organizing party's if the interested ones don't ask for it.

it's also better to play without diving into the manipulation, it kinda cuts your vision out of the floor

nice tutorial. very clear.
perfect for a total beginner or an expert.

i hate to be a bitch but i dont think there is anything really revolutionary going on here- but the tip about having the same riff- but shifted- on different clips- that was new... and cool!

otherwise we have turning on and off of effects and tweaking them or synth parameters,
and we have the playing of simple riffs (first on cue then on the main out)

all of this is possible with a groove box even...
or cubase etc. Orion and Fruity Loops...attention Slyman604

these techniques would work great for minimal styles and techno and things where everything is not changing all the time always.

for more complex styles where everything has to change all the time including basslines- and where 2 or more things come in or change at the same time, or where dramatic builds and breaks and shifts occur or when there are lots of special one-time-only events, perhaps thats when the "loops" are better off as entire finished chunks-
particularly if one has to reproduce some remix resembling ones great big hit track...

but WICKED tutorial- i dont want to take a DROP of happiness away from what can really be a GREAT series- people would buy this in droves! - you have a very calm clear and rational approach to it.

nice lead and groovy bassline too:)

If it's so easy to do what's with all the "false live act" talk?

No offense, just making my point..This or something similar is how anyone that considers themself a PA should play.
