just that the example you gave was wrong.

its copyrights.
its breaking copyright law.

Why is it alright to break the law against weed-smoking and isnt it alright to break the copyright law?

I myself break both laws.
I smoke weed because I like it.
I download mp3 because I dont want to pay for something I can get for free.
I know its wrong but I prefer to spend my money on something that I cant get for free, like food, fuel, parties etc.
          Its the vibe that matters.

gilad, quick recap on the internet connection, phone lines and electric bills: approx. 390 NIS on a bezek line (about, oh, say a hundred for a 750k?), and electrical bills which usuelly sum up to 500-600 NIS (say, about 150-200 bucks?)
so i might've exagerated a bit by saying 300$, but it's not the point. the point is we are all required to pay our bills. if we have a job and the means to pay those bills, there's no reason why there'd be no money left to buy a miserable CD for 1/10 of that. I know I'm not a law-abiding citizen in the full sense of the word, but lets think about it: if i refuse paying my electrical bill, i won't be able to download it from soulseek. if i refuse paying my phone bills, i couldn't find a patch for it online. if you keep downloading music, eventually - there'll be no more music left . apocalyptic, i know. but people said that it's ok to hunt rhinos and now they are almost extinct.
I'm blabbering now..

Well, downloading music i s great in one way. You get to listen to new projects and you can buy a record annd know what you'll get. Without the internet, I wouldn't have bought a tenth og the music I buy now. In average I buy one CD each week. By downloading music, I can filter out which music I like and don't like. So if I find some tunes I like, I'll buy a record from that artist.

Studies have also shown that the people who download much music, they're also the ones who buy many records. I consider myself as a brilliant example of this.

But I'm also quite lucky, since I live in Norway with a very strong economy. Here the minimum price for a CD is 20 €, but most of them cost a few euros more... So I have no problem buying records from saikosounds.com, phonokol.com or psyshop.com. You says you pay over 30 € for a record at psyshop! How is that possible when they only charge 3.25 € to send two records to the costumers within the EU?

One thing.

Like i said many times how the unreleased stuff appear on the net????
who´s the fault????
I tink if the artists or labels keep their stuff with them it´s harder that unr appear on the net.

Off course if an unreleased track is on the net there are many ppl interested in downloading them.
It´s bad????? yes its not fair but i tink the labels have some fault on it
Many compils and albuns when are released are already on the net for some time.

Who´s the fault????????
I guess is from the labels no.
Explain me this iam confused

This is just my modest opinion.

you can't compare stealing a car on downloading a mp3..

wouldn't you "copy & paste" a ferrari if you could? i sure as hell would..

but we are preaty much concerned from the trance scene situation and not the aoutomobile industry situation.

im sure that there are "downloaders" that know for sure that its wrong to do this.
they just dont go deeper with it and see the whole picture with a view to the scene future.

ppl just need to understand this.
if this industry wont "roll" some money, it`ll extinct.

now the question is how many ppl care...
from what i see nowdays - not much.           if you want to be rich, u`ve got to be a bitch!
