Though the same as you guys,
Thats the thing with euro thin and fat, think its down to the power restrictions
But it is a very interesting piece of gear
Was gagging to hear him do some choppy fast env bass stuff
Maybe ask on muffs for someone to get to it
I have the luxurynof a euro dealer a short train journey away so maybe ill give you my own impressions
Need to hear those lower octaves more

For the price its definatelly got legs
Filter is lush, same as the dr octature with more states
If i were at the beginning I woukd go for it right away
Another thing to take into consideration is that he will only be using intellijel gear with it as well so thats something to take into consideration
Still in two kinds if ill get it , would need more persuading after the demo,

I am not looking for something to replace the Moogs, the *excel* at bass. I am looking for character, squelch, punch (the Atlantis has a lot! that ADSR sounds killer) and get controlled *madness* that I can sequence and have full control of each note of the sequence to build interesting patterns I am unable to make with what I got.
At 9:09 onwards, my hands got moist

It seems ideal for me as I am just starting and money is tight.
The other option in terms of sound quality is the MicroMac...but its twice the cash, more raw power, but less features and I already have two flavors of the Moog sound, even though this beats the new Moog synths at the Moog sound.

I'm building a dedicated The Harvestman 6u rack. I love the sounds from his gear for a digital system.
Just be carefull with those negative voltages
Quite easy to fry the chips on digital systems
But yeah if I were into digital noise and fuck shit up , harvestman is the only door to knock
I use a malekko attenuator, has a half and full wave rectifier which gives a digital sort of sound as it fold the negative voltages over
Makes everything sound a bit more virus like

Give me fizzy knickers as well
squelch and squeel,
Did anybody notice the gain stagging was a bit off, kinda clipped a little
The drive has two stages on it but you have the luxury of a built in mixer so you dont need the faders all the way up so you can sweet spot the gain stagging,,, in the same way that you get the sweet tones from a minibrute

yes i think the micromac still offer good bangs for the bucks vs separated modules for what you get and the quality imo |

the atlantis seems great, and best bang for bucks but the demo a bit turned me off in a way...i still think i would go separate module insteed of a full voice like this but it s mostly cause i have the xs already
for complementing it , a new oscillator that can be used as lfo , es3, vca would be better choice to start with i think
damn have to stop dreaming |
