The settlements may have gone but Israel remains in the position of an occupying power under international law because it has sole control over Gaza/Israel borders, who can enter and leave, Gaza's imports and exports and many financial transactions, its power (especially after bombing Gaza's only power station out of action), its water supply, whether journalists are allowed inside or not, the daily calorie intake of Gaza's residents, their ID cards and whether or not they're allowed to visit relatives elsewhere, and of course each resident's daily allowance of depleted uranium and experimental weaponry.

Yes there are Israeli soldiers patrolling at the borders. what's wrong with that? Israel let journalists come into Gaza through Israel, even ones that after criticize Israel. By the way, Gaza has also border with Egypt. Why you don't blame them for closing the border completely? I don't understand what you said at the last sentence, i think maybe you said that Israel control also the money that each resident have in Gaza, which is total bullshit.
Anyway man, you are full lies, maybe you believe in them, maybe you not, i have no fucking idea. The Hamas succeeded to brought into Gaza so much weapon and they invested so much money at their attack tunnels and rockets, so to say Israel is controlling everything in Gaza is completely non sense. Furthermore, if they would invest this millions, if not billions, of dollars at the city and at the civilians, Gaza would be much better.
Maybe Israel is not saint (not that the UK is saint) but we much more saint than the Hamas.

facts? the first map never been ok, the land was called Palestine, but it wasn't an official country. It was just the name of the land.
The 3rd map also is not true, after 1949 war Jordan took over the west bank and Egypt took Gaza, just in 1967 we conquered this areas after we was attacked.
Genocide? 6,000,000 is Genocide. 2000 people is not Genocide, especially when most of them are terrorists. Yes there are some dead civilians too, thanks to the "great" tactic of the Hamas to shoot from dense populated areas. The population of Gaza is growing all the time. There are more people in Gaza than in any city in Israel. so how the hell can you say it's Genocide?

Yes, daily calorie intake. Whilst imposing a blockade (aka seige), controlling and limiting the minutest detail of everything that could be brought into Gaza - including which food could or could not be imported - the Israeli government calculated the calorie needs of each citizen so as to 'prevent malnutrition'. If there had been no blockade, that calculation would not have needed to be made.

Israel also prevents Gaza from trading with the rest of the world so people there are heavily dependant on outside aid, and has a great deal of control over the Gazan economy:

And it's Israel who controls its borders with Gaza, and who decides who comes in and out. Israel prevented some journalists from entering Gaza at certain times, for instance in 2009:

Hamas are fundamentalist nutters and their targeting of civilians is fucked up - I don't condone it (although Palestinians have a right under international law to resist their occupation). However I can't help thinking that if they'd invested all those millions of dollars into rockets, they wouldn't need to hit a petrol station to actually kill anyone.

most of them are terrorists, really? How come isreal executed 2000 people and hamas about 60? hundreds of children and mothers had to die and 80% of your population supports this all? IF you really like I can organize soon a list with all names of deads and age etc. No problem. I guarantee you there are a lot of children under 2 years. Who the fuck are the terrorist? These children maybe?
You also might wanna watch some video facts? Like planned headshots to children from Isreali soldiers? Even animals were killed.. sadistic and degrading methods to terminate an existence of a nation by overtaking a whole country.
The Zionists have one of the most powerful military in the world, and also the latest weapon technology.
Isreal has also about 60 victims - no children.

The psytrance scene is hardly affected by the middle east conflict, the biggest trance celebrations have been happening around the planet this month.
It's a good thing really given the amount of misery and hatred has pumped into peoples consciousness recently, some amount of happiness and togetherness is required.
Sorry to not join the discussion, even though the situation is one that cannot be ignored, it seems like a very futile thing to discuss on a music forum.

I believe Faxi's last statement to me is very relevant when it comes to the middle east conflict affecting psy trance. It is obvious that there is a deep division going on, and that Faxi really believes what he says, and so do the people who ban artists not only from Israel parties but from the big events period, since there are a few Israeli people who have the power to do so. Yes, we can go on and and on about who is right, without getting anywhere. Same with insults to me, Osho, me being a nazi and so on, I actually did not say squat about Israel or Palestina during the entire episode, just to see what the reaction of people like Yaron Eshkar will be towards me without me saying anything, and I have now seen the reaction, all I can say is that I am sorry that you carry so much hatred towards people who have facts that differ from your opinion Yaron and all you others, who think defense warrants genocide. This is a problem that a lot of people in Israel seem to be having nowadays, and it is a problem that is clearly dividing the cream from the crop in our beloved Goa scene.
That and I honestly insist on being a full blown asshole, of that you may accuse me anytime, but me fake? I don't think so.

Mate, you're having a fit... its kinda slang for saying a mental breakdown, when you get so angry it actually becomes hysterical for others to read.
On another note, the problem is right here. People that cash in from war, manipulate the media in order to have this exact result, have us hating each other.
I am not naive, there are (not all) Muslims that raise the Quran and wish death to all infidels, just like there are Christians (not all) that put a cross on their shields and justify the deaths of non-Christians.

I do feel there is an agenda, as tragic as the Israel/Palestine issue is, there are far worse things happening in Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Armenia and the world's "watchdog" is a country that killed all the natives of the country it is today and has dropped nuclear bombs on cities.
Every country is worthy of its leaders, including my own.
The problem is religion and money. Remove both of them and all this would not happen.

You have to put things into perspective, Israelis are right in the middle of countries that see the day they are all dead, as a day of "deliverance".
Following that you see people like Faxinadu flipping out, I am not angry at him and even though I like to take the piss out of him for believing he can swear at people, yet feels its rude to hear someone else's opinion (with no swear words) that does not go along with his.
This behavior is the essence of this topic, looking how people active in the trance scene, flip out because of this conflict.
Obviously the invasion of Muslim countries, since the Crusades, has had the exact opposite effect that the people wanted. There is no democracy in Iraq after 23 years of "serving democracy" to them, it just results to more Muslims getting radicalized and makes them strap bombs on to them.
Although this is exactly the effect that warmongers want. The effect of fear and hatred that will perpetuate the killings and will perpetuate the cashing in on arms deals, all over the world.
