yeah one could think like that... but we´re not discussing the conflict.... at least i pointed out that its clearly not my intention.... i dont wanna take part on this. i wanna talk about the stuff aside affecting the party i attend! thats a whole different story...
i clearly dont wanna stay at the floor next to some guys raising their middlefinger to the artist wielding their flags.... and i dont wanna play infront of them.... i wanna talk about ppl just like you and me, that dont seem to be involved in this conflict, anyways taking part in it. ppl that run after some ory lang guy like those dumbasses in my country did 70 years ago....just a reminder where this can lead to.... its not only about this conflict, and there will be no end if anyone takes a win... if ever. how narrowminded can one be to think anythings over if they found solution....??? as if those few ppl stand for the entire nation, being it weither palestine or israel. i tell you what, it will stay deep in their heart forever.... im german, the war seems to be over.... anyways, nothing is over. we´re still occupied, and trust me.... ppl hate it! germany is dying and we´re kept to never loose a word about it!!
im no nazi, but its fucked up everywhere not just middleast. infact im very scared about the relations everywhere in the entire world.... they´ve done and planted their fuckin concept just fkkn everywhere! i dont mind about what it is. i mind about clear facts. a clear fact is history repeating itself infornt our eyes and we dumbasses look at it and talk about sincere condolence and empathic ejaculations.....

politics affect the trance scene because of two simple reasons:
1. people are not frivolous any more and do care where they travel. they more and more prefer secure places instead of dangerous travels out there in the foreign world. the more locally they act, the less "trance scene".
2. how trancy it can be to see a person and instead of communicating with a fellow earthman just see a representative of a nation that takes sides in war situations? to think all the time that you belong to nation A and the fellow trancer to nation B and to actually despise the fellow trancer because of national politics? or to feel superior because you belong to nation A?
in the meanwhile there is almost no nation that does not take sides in a war situation.
no, this is not trancy at all, not even fun. and flags on festivals is one of the ugliest views possible ( just my two cents).
there are far nicer places where international thinkers come together and create a peaceful situation with a common goal... than a festival.
just an opinion.

I have been threatened (dead threats too) the last two years for daring to criticize Israel. I have had hate campaigns against me, lies and propaganda against my person, israelis opening up fake Facebook pages in my name to make my name look bad. I have had 3 men looking for me in a party in Israel (I did not make it due to missing the flight). I have had israeli artists spread lies about me (calling me a Nazi, Anti-semite and an Enemy to the state of Israel). I have a group of israeli artists, organizers etc. (The one debated here) trying to boycott me from playing not only in Israel (Don't worry I wont come back again) but also in the rest of the World where israelis are involved (almost any Festival etc.). |

I joined said Facebook forum and asked about Ayelet Shaked, and never got any answer, they seem to be pro Israel politics but when someone mentions a woman who sits in the Knesset and asks for outright annihilation of all Palestinians they ignore the thread or delete it twice, like in my case.
In my opinion the people who are fanatically pro Israeli government are shooting themselves in the foot. I cannot think of any producer in their right mind who would want to go to Israel right now, the aggression level is too much and even though some people have mentioned that there are other thinking people in Israel (and I know many of them and call them my friends, who just want peace) the aggression there is just too much!
I also do not take sides in this conflict, because conflict per se is a luxury we can no longer afford in this world... I take side in peace, and not in finger pointing, tit for tat and any other reasoning why violence is justified. There is no justification for violence on either side, period...
As far as the Goa trance scene is concerned the PLUR is long gone, it was replaced by a few people who are wielding way too much power in the scene, while some live acts who shell out fantastic music hardly ever get booked, because of boycotts and cheap politics, and because they have a different opinion than those who are pro right wing Israeli politics, (I am sorry folks, but it has to be said)!
As long as said group is in power the psy scene will continue to decline (because they are the ones who continuously fuck it up) . You few people know who you are and you ought to be ashamed to let it have come to this! I hope you get outed soon in front of all the people and take your hats and leave, and don't come back until you see the utter stupidity and egotism of your ways, come again without your monster egos, and you might be welcomed back!
There , I have said it, now you can boycott me too or threaten me or do whatever it is that you think makes you happy!
With the Israeli scene ultimately cutting itself off the rest of us I honestly believe the Goa scene is undergoing a change, not for better or worse, but look at it, it is 30 years old now. It is bound to change, as it has all this time. the 90s were different from the 80s, the 2000s different from the 90s and the 2010s are again different.
One more thing, I was a part of this scene long before any of you politicians and boycotts were even allowed in Goa and I will continue to be a part of this scene, whether you like it or not, you are all stuck with me muahahahahahahahaha

Many of these things have happened to me too, over the past couple of years, except no-one's started fake pages in my name (that I'm aware of) and I haven't had people looking for me at parties so they can beat me up. I have had death threats and been called anti-Zionist and self-hating Jew and been told if I come back to Israel I'm going home in a coffin, and that Trance Israel United group has a nice image of my band's logo with a big red line through it, alongside the ones of Benji Vaughn, Simon Posford, TIP Records, Elysium etc. Good company to be in.
One funny thing though; at a recent international festival we played at, I was told one of the organisers was looking for me to 'give me a slap because of my big mouth'. After a couple of days there I eventually met him, we talked and he spent most of the time saying "I love you man" and that if I needed anything - ANYTHING - I just had to ask him and he would make it happen. Nice guy, really helpful, amazing festival.
