The issue is way too complex, i don't think it's something someone without a deep understanding of history should comment lightly.

in true Gandhi spirit I condemn violence what ever means and ends and think many many artist do it too.

That being said Israel goverment propaganda is scary and powerfull. It's important to separate the goverment from the people (in both sides).

Also I refuse to think a liberal-democratic society can't do better than that.           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

If you keep your eyes on the histories of Zionism, radical Islam and the origins of the Occupation, EVEN someone who doesn't live in Israel can have a view on how it started and how it will need to end.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Even as a kid 30 years ago i rememeber hearing on the radio about Israel and 'seas fire'...at the time i could not work out wtf this was about!!
Nothing has changed in this time sadly.....this is older then all of us.

I don't see how politics like this can be a negative drag on a scene full of hippies tho, i mean c'mon, where's the love man???

An Artist who is full of hate is not one whose music i think i'd enjoy....

Actually the premise of the situation isn't very complex at all. The complexity comes from the extremist attitudes on both sides. It's a common war, and will not be resolved in iur life time I bet.

I am interested to see how the western governments are coming down so hard on Russia now that a commercial plane was shot down yet now even the bombing of a U.N. Safety zone by Israel has garnered a remotely similar reaction.

I don't in any way support the extremist Palestinians either, but it must be hard to have so much of the world care so little about you.           Cuntus Maximus.

i agree it being rather less complex than most suggest. anyways no sense to argue on that, cause sure ppl will mostly tend to disagree.

im sad for the ppl blamed by blind hatred and wrong nationalism. many out there in the world dont get few simple facts e.g. not every jew/israeli being zionist, not every arab is part of the (infiltrated U.S. sidearm) Muslim Brotherhood, not every palestinian is part of or fine with Hamas. at the end who is and what makes an extremist.... in WWII i might have been one too.... cause sure one would´ve given all to stand up against that.... anyone´s a potential extremist in the eye of our governments. thats for sure.... otherwise i´d be allowed wearing the same protectional weaponry the army is allowed to wear during official conflicts, demonstration etc..... not talking bout lethal things, just protective wear! if goverment decides im an extremist im pretty much fucked..... and this can be any time, i dont have to take part in any demonstration or smth.... i dont have to do anything at all..... thats what i observe since i heared of this conflict for the first time as a child....

there are families inbetween, loving ppl who dont understand what they have to do with it, simply like i dont know what i have to do with nazi germany..... which is simply over since pretty much 7 decades! still whiney apologizing of our so called politicians.... sorry ?¿

at the end only death makes a win and its mostly forcing collateral damage. warcrime on both sides.....

observing your comments a lot recently.... pretty straight disgusting aXis. to me you make a huge part of the reason why many ppl left this forum. blame me hate me troll me.... but this comment should bomb your ass outta here.... not for single reason, but for topping your own shit off!

This scene hasn't been about PLUR for long time now. In my opinion its just another music scene without any particular speciality in it like it used to have. That's why this nationalistic nonsense is raising its ugly head. Things evolve. Deal with it. I myself look back to the end of 80's techno and new beat. Way more psychedelic than any psy that has been created, ever.

this is a feeling that is probably there for at least 70 percent of the world population , no matter if palestinian or not.

besides, just some figures to compare. the islamic population on earth is about 1.6 billion, most of them are quite probably supporters of religion (real believers) . in comparison: the christian population is 2.1 billion , probably most of them just pro forma ( not real believers but nicely paying church taxes and visiting the church on christmas ). therefore the believers on the islamic side are probably more than those on christian or jewish side. and i suppose they do not really "care" for christian or jewish countries.

so how come we should set a thesis that palestinians have so many people who care so little about them?

anyway, i would prefer not to take sides either, as long as my family and friends are not concerned. but if ppeople start to take sides and pretend to have found the wisdom of justice, i kind of intuitively oppose to that. in a war situation every side is wrong and right at the same time.

...i am very happy that chancelor angela merkel officially asked the people in germany not to demonstrate against israel with anti-jewish / anti-israeli slogans and to do their best that history does not repeat itself. demonstrations are okey, but calling israel murderers and nazis is not okey. because it is not the truth. it is like to call the states of america murderers just because obama and hilary clinton killed brutally a muslim (let him kill).

the conflict is ways too complex for "you and me" and anyone else here in the forum to be solved. sometimes it is even wiser to pretend not to care.

German Chancelor is responsible for this genocide aswell. What a shame.Over 60 years after world war 2 and not too much's changed. The media is full of shit and people are quite naive almost as in the past, not really on the streets in amounts as it should be. Shame shame for such chancellor who is licking israels ass for own genocide in history and by this supporting another genocide.Damn nazi pack alltogether.I hope this will go to international court for war crime.

this discussion here gives a pretty good picture why there will not be a quick solution to the conflict.
