Faxi - I live in america and as such I don't have a very clear picture of what its like to live in israel and I don't consider myself extremely educated about the state of things there.

However, from looking at your posts I am worried by your reactions to criticism - especially in regards to how you react to criticism aimed at israel's policies as if that criticism were leveled directly at you.

Let me ask you a question - are you completely 100% in favor of everything that Israel has ever done?

Because unless that is true (and if so, I am worried - because EVERY government makes mistakes...), you need to see that criticism of a government is not necessarily criticism of the individual.

Reacting extremely defensively and taking personal insult to a criticism of a government is not conducive to a rational conversation - if that is what you are intending to have.

"In the late 1800s a group in Europe decided to colonize this land. Known as Zionists, they represented an extremist minority of the Jewish population. Their goal was to create a Jewish homeland, and they considered locations in Africa and the Americas, before settling on Palestine."

- israel was always the only choice. herzel considered for a brief time uganda that was offered to him because he was very concerned as pogroms agaisnt jews in russia and ukraine were getting really serious at the time. after a disccusion the uganda proposal was rejected obviously because it has nothing to do with the jews, where israel has always been the one and only jewish country.

"Hitler's rise to power, combined with Zionist activities to sabotage efforts to place Jewish refugees in western countries, led to increased Jewish immigration to Palestine, and conflict grew."

- there has nver been efforts to sabotage bla bla bla lol. NEVER heard of that, you are the only one to claim it. in fact, most jews who fled russia at that time fled to america with only a small % reaching israel, in spite of the british difficulties encountered in getting here.

"Under considerable Zionist pressure, the UN recommended giving away 55% of Palestine to a Jewish state – despite the fact that this group represented only about 30% of the total population, and owned under 7% of the land."
- if you take away the negev, which no one "owned" your whole percentage game goes out the window.

"While it is widely reported that the resulting war eventually included five Arab armies, less well known is the fact that throughout this war Zionist forces outnumbered all Arab and Palestinian combatants combined – often by a factor of two to three. Moreover, Arab armies did not invade Israel – virtually all battles were fought on land that was to have been the Palestinian state."

- actualy, the egyptian army invaded israel and came within 30km of tel aviv. there is a bridge north of ashdod which is caleld "bridge ad halom" meaning in hebrew "bridge here and no further", this is where the egyptians where stopped on the coast. in the south, egypt has penetrated almost to rehovot in central israel and cut off the negev.
jordan has penetrated along with iraq on the central sharon plains (yes yes, iraq. if you visit me i can show you the exact camp site of the iraqi army, that colin says never invaded). take note iraq doesnt even have a border with israel!

"Finally, it is significant to note that Arab armies entered the conflict only after Zionist forces had committed 16 massacres, including the grisly massacre of over 100 men, women, and children at Deir Yassin. Future Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, head of one of the Jewish terrorist groups, described this as “splendid,” and stated: “As in Deir Yassin, so everywhere, we will attack and smite the enemy. God, God, Thou has chosen us for conquest.” Zionist forces committed 33 massacres altogether."
- "zionist forces"???? wtf are you talking about. the only one using that word is pretty much you... but anyways, those who actually commited masacares where arabs who killed off the entire settlements of gush etzion WHILE THE BRITISH WHERE STILL HERE as well as the column of doctors to har hazofim in jerusalem and manny more. its nice you can copy/paste shit colin, the only problem is you are copy pasting false information

and menachem begin is in fact one of the better people you could hope to ever know. a man of integrity, that while your queen lives in castles, rode a bus his whole life till the day that he died even though he was prime minister here. all your politicians wish they were half what begin was.

"By the end of the war, Israel had conquered 78 percent of Palestine; three-quarters of a million Palestinians had been made refugees; over 500 towns and villages had been obliterated; and a new map was drawn up, in which every city, river and hillock received a new, Hebrew name, as all vestiges of the Palestinian culture were to be erased. For decades Israel denied the existence of this population, former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir once saying: “There is no such thing as a Palestinian.”:
- so what you are saying is, there was a war, one side lost and payed the price. shit happens don't you think? you know why the name "palestine" came about? the romans punished the jews for the revolt that long ago, and one of the punishments was to change the name of the region from judea to palestine in order to erase the jewish land from history. so if you start with that "they changed the name" this is where you lost me.

"In 1967, Israel conquered still more land. Following the Six Day War, in which Israeli forces launched a highly successful surprise attack on Egypt, Israel occupied the final 22% of Palestine that had eluded it in 1948 – the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Since, according to international law it is inadmissible to acquire territory by war, these are occupied territories and do not belong to Israel. It also occupied parts of Egypt (since returned) and Syria (which remain under occupation)."
- who controlled that 22%? was it a country called palestine? NO, it was jordan. why didn't jordan give that lands to those people then? maybe because there was never an entity called palestenian people? maybe because the only country to have recognized them and dealing with them and negotiating with them, is ironically, israel?

"Also during the Six Day War, Israel attacked a US Navy ship, the USS Liberty, killing and injuring over 200 American servicemen. President Lyndon Johnson recalled rescue flights, saying that he did not want to "embarrass an ally." (In 2004 a high-level commission chaired by Admiral Thomas Moorer, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, found this attack to be “an act of war against the United States,” a fact few news media have reported.)"
- this is known, and a known error. you really are trying to persuade people that israel attacked america on purpose?!? you get how much of a logic fail that is, and how even including this paragraph weakens eveyr other thing you write and proves how agenda driven you are?

"There are two primary issues at the core of this continuing conflict. First, there is the inevitably destabilizing effect of trying to maintain an ethnically preferential state, particularly when it is largely of foreign origin. The original population of what is now Israel was 96 percent Muslim and Christian, yet, these refugees are prohibited from returning to their homes in the self-described Jewish state (and those within Israel are subjected to systematic discrimination)."
- i can show you TRUKISH and BRITISH and GERMAN population figures from circa 1500 through the 1800's and 1900's to this day, totally ubiased government sources and findings of research missions to this area during those times, i actually own the books and i can fucking show you. there was a slight muslim majority during ottoman times that gradualy was surpassed by jewish majority. also MANY of the arabs that came here in the last stages of ottoman and early stages of british rule came here for work, and imigrated here the same era as the jews did.

"Second, Israel's continued military occupation and confiscation of privately owned land in the West Bank, and control over Gaza, are extremely oppressive, with Palestinians having minimal control over their lives. Over 10,000 Palestinian men, women, and children are held in Israeli prisons. Few of them have had a legitimate trial; Physical abuse and torture are frequent. Palestinian borders (even internal ones) are controlled by Israeli forces. Periodically men, women, and children are strip searched; people are beaten; women in labor are prevented from reaching hospitals (at times resulting in death); food and medicine are blocked from entering Gaza, producing an escalating humanitarian crisis. Israeli forces invade almost daily, injuring, kidnapping, and sometimes killing inhabitants."
- now here come the biggest of lies. i don't even know how to refute this without a "he-said-she-said" kind of way, other than inviting you all here to see for yourself if this is true or not. i myself live in the west bank, and the land i live on was BOUGHT IN FULL MONEY from the palestinian who owned the land before.

"According to the Oslo peace accords of 1993, these territories were supposed to finally become a Palestinian state. However, after years of Israel continuing to confiscate land and conditions steadily worsening, the Palestinian population rebelled."
- according to the oslo accords, the palestinian territories are to be de-militarized with only Ak47s and handguns allowed for the official palestinian forces. islamic organizations calling for death of all jews (and christians for that matter), 10000 rockets, suicide bombs, anti tank missles, attack tunnels, terror, extortion, kidnapping, murder, rape are all not allowed by the oslo accords.

thank you for wasting another hour of my life, colin

and btw colin, somehow you think "zionist" is a bad word? here it is a word with a lot of pride and respect, i consider myself one and proud to be one, and again you keep spinning it any way you want it, and again all you will prove to israelis is how right we are to be scared and "paranoid" as you call it.

funny too that little quip at golda meir, one of the greatest jews and greatest women to ever live, especially considering all your country has to offer is that cold bitch thatcher and a queen

i suggest to anyone who isn't colin to read golda meir's biography, there is nothing to hide there about jews and zionism. only a true hero of planet earth, a person that lived her life for her cause, who was firm yet gentle, hard yet soft. the closest thing to jean luc picard humanity has ever offered. not just a poser that typed about it on isratrance like all of us here. i cried while reading it.

anyways you talk about this affecting the trance scene, there is also another side to it beyond the 10 or so of you here trying to gangbang me. for every colin there are 10 people sending me love in private and in public, sending support, and telling me how much they don't agree and codem people like you.
too bad you are a loud minority and they are a silent majority, but i guess it is always like this when hippies go wild for a cause, but i'll still take it.
