a)mexico is part of north america
b)not that many mexican users actually talk, only post info for parties, etc...
We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home.

make it your mission dj Raflekt, gather up your mexican brothers and sisters and urge them to participate more.

The only time I see mexican people posting here, is about a party or when they want a section for mexico.

I never hear them talk or discuss their local scene or their personal experiences at their parties which I would realy like hear to get a perspective on their scene. Check out the west coast in particularly the Bay area people have strong opinions and they express them, for good or worst which is good because you get a real perspective on their scene. And their scene dwarfs the scene in Mexico.

Dwarfs the scene in Mexico...the bay area??? c'mon....dude...stop taking drugs,...I know trailer parks look like mansions on drugs...but be real..

Everyone knows the trance scene in mexico is one of the biggest in the world. Especially since we can still have parties..and have not been banned...by bush.....

Thank God we live in Mexico.!!!

Viva la fiesta....y si el gringo este piensa que la escena es mas grande en frisco...que en Mexico...pues...que role de la mota que esta fumando....la neta.

Salud Y pax.

as a bay area dweller who has been to a couple of parties in mexico i can verify that the above post is fact - no scene in the u.s. is bigger than the smallest party in mex... lucky cabrones!

the two son pax parties i went to this year were really good, in different ways. the equinox party was on the beach a little north of cancun - not touristy and very beautiful. there is nothing like dancing at sunrise on the edge of the beautiful warm caribbean sea... was there all night and had a wonderful time, very shanti vibes all around... a few hundred people, more in the morning but it started to rain so alas, the rest of the party was cancelled...but we still enjoyed it very much.

the party in acapulco was alot bigger, a few thousand people (superflyers correct me if i'm wrong) and was more like a concert vibe than what we're used to in the bay area - huge stage and lighting, not so much deco but a few big hanging pieces over the dancefloor. but still to experience that many people into the music was really cool. this was a two day party also on the beach with camping...the vending wasn't what i was expecting or hoping - there was only some food (hot dogs) and a few bars... no clothing or anything like that. but maybe it is different at other parties?

i came by myself and was at first intimidated seeing thousands of people under 25 gathering in one place for the event. but i soon realized that it was not aggressive and straightaway ran into some really nice people i met at the party in cancun the month before, so that was cool! (thanks ivan!!)

it was a little weird to see people asking the djs and producers for autographs after their sets, but there were alot of younger people there so i guess they are pretty enamoured with the music, which is not a bad thing. just hope the egos don't run too rampant down there with all the adoration from young impressionable minds!

i heard the new years eve party last year was fantastic and i wish we were going this year.

from my experience mex is a great place to party...its different than the bay area b/c the sheer numbers of people are going to affect the intimacy factor, like we have up here. but it sure is wonderful to be able to party on the beach. i'm coming back as soon as i can!

I moved to Texas 5 years ago, just when the scene in Mexico was becoming the monster that it is now....my first party (1999) was in the Ajusco Mountain somewhere around the southern outskirts of Mexico City. At that time this kind of parties were just barley a cool thing to do for people who like music, so the vibe was primal and naive and hence beautiful......among others GMS was playing , but neophyte as I was, didn't realize so, once in the US one of my countrymen remotely uploaded some MP3 files to my computer (I remembered GMS's Stars Wars tune), since then I got hook, and sometimes I spend my always scarce weekend money traveling to Mexico City for a couple of very massive parties, both life changing experiences ....I can tell beyond any reasonable doubt that all that its said about the scene in Mexico is true....good or bad...but definitely is something to share and explain to the world.

Surrender is absolutely right it up to us to be listened....a Mexican forum?....uhmmm don't know.... personally I consider Mexico as part of north America....but definitely we Mexicans need to drop the burrito and start using the keyboard a little bit more often...still I recognize that having that many parties with such a killer line-up (as they do), most of my Mexicans friends will barely have few usable neurons to write anything at all before the next party! (lol)........This however must not be an excuse paisanos!....Por favor chequen la bandera en su profile, yo por ejemplo, y sin darme cuenta tenia otra selecionada en mi configuracion.

This is my first posting in Isratrance, I hope this wasn't too long...

it usually isnt our way to discuss internal matters in public but since jeto mentioned something i would like confirm that there are talks indeed. one thing that we do not want to see is half english half spanish posts... this is not really ok in isratrance since as an intl' forum we picked english as the only official language here. im glad to see many mexicans wanting this section, we are not from the atlas police and are not going to argue about what is north america according to whatever definition, that is just silly. the need for a section is being discussed, what will come out - im not sure. what is sure:- its still up to you mexicans to be heared.
