How old do you want??

Some really classic 60's albums...
White Noise - Electric Storm in Hell
- the first British psychedelic electronics, from 1969
Tonto's Expanding Headband - Zero Time
- still amazing people after all those years
Tom Dissevelt & Kid Baltan - Song of the second moon
(very very hard to find! but worth it)
Raymond Scott - Manhattan Research 2xCD
(amazing electronica from 50's and 60s)
Terry Riley - Rainbow in Curved Air / Poppy Nogood

Some really good '70s albums for the chillout...
Kraftwerk - Ralf & Florian
Steve Hillage - Rainbow Dome Music
Harmonia - album
Edgar Froese - Aqua
Conrad Schnitzler - Electric Garden
Brian Eno / Laraaji - Ambient 3
Mick Clarke - Games (very obscure but amazing psyamb)
Pharoah Sanders & Leon Thomas - Karma
(not electronic but beautiful anyway)

and some 80's albums as well ...
Jon Hassell - Possible Musics
Art of Noise - The Ambient Collecton
Steve Roach - Strcutures from Silence
Laraaji - Universe
Le Mystere de Voix Bulgares
David Hykes - Harmonic meetings
or even ... Noden's Ictus - The Grove of Selves
(legendary ambient cassette by Ozrics offshoot)

Of course the early '90s saw the biggest explosion
of chillout artists and releases ... many of which
are in need of a reissue!

seems a lot of people didn't get the essence of the subject...

..it is not about references and suggestions..

..it is about precise releases research.. in example releases from now closed labels and so on..

However, nice from you all guys ! Thanx..           .

how about:

Mantaray - Numinous Island (Silent, 1995 - Demon Tea, 2001 reissue)

Solar Quest - Orgisms (double cd, contains their debut album Orgship from 1994)

the solar quest album can be found in amazon.co.uk           --- open the doors and let the music flood in ---

Helloooo let's push up this thread again..

Thanks to some of your posts I could buy some of the records I was looking for, including the amazing ElectroSlide first album..

I've read only lately about this one (I think it's Shahar who dropped a line about it) :

Melatonic Music : Daytime Prescription Vol. 1

That was released by Totally Eclipsed Recordings in 1999 and now after having read the tracklisting I'd soooo much like to have it in my hands haha (even if I have several of these tracks on other compilations/albums now, there amongst all this "1968" by Cosmos Diplomath -aka Toires + Electroslide !!-.. Woaow !)

If anybody has a tip to find it.. I saw it on amazon but the seller wants 25 dollars for it.. I'll probably order it if I have no other choice..

Cosmos Diplomatik (not Diplomath) '1968' was also written with Loic Vanpoucke (of Total Eclipse) for that particular track.

"These people are hippies, on to something good"

It's a great release. I remember paying roughly $20 plus shipping when it came out. Still worth it in my book. The Cosmos Diplomatik 'Science Lab' track is pretty funny when you first hear it. I love Electroslide's 'Sunny Vibes'
