as for pikra mate i tell what is.its to play only for one promoter and tzampa from the start till the end.pikra is to take cds and tshirts insted of money.pikra is not to know whats the situation is and speak just for speak.

DJs and producers tend to merge into one entity nowdays. On one extreme there are all the big DJs who are also producers and get payed a nice amount to promote their next LP by playing live, but they also get a nice amount to simply spin other big producer's tunes (as well as their own). That is the professional model that has been set today by either random circumstances or, to be more accurate, the progression someone undergoes, in order to be a more active part of this scene.
On the other extreme you have DJNobody, who simply spins tunes in his/her bedroom. They don't produce, they haven't spent the time and energy to acquire the knowledge necessary to make the music, they simply learned to match the beats (best case scenario, especially in Greece) and have an ear to the ground for new tunes that rock the floor. Thats all fair enough but its a case of "beggars can't be choosers" and it is them bedroom DJs that are begging for gigs, some get them if its convenient enough for some promoters, but most simply do not.
Its not just in psy-trance but in most dance scenes, the most booked DJs are also producers. The producer is almost something like the evolution of the DJ nowdays. Even DJs who can't produce, find some geek producer, get together in the studio and make some music. As a result, more bookings start flowing in.
The people that get left behind (of outside the stage) are the DJs that haven't evolved.
Now you could say that this has nothing to do with local DJs not getting payed, but you'd be mistaken as it is all a matter of status and simply facing reality.
It sucks going to the gig and not getting what was promised to you, but in order to avoid that from happening, you could simply be more selective of the gigs you play at. If life's circumstances do not allow for the luxury to choose gigs (and its highly likely with the party situation in Greece), then just face it, every young blood in the scene goes through shit. If you don't like that, then simply quit. Those who persist and choose to evolve, will get there in the end.

djs will start get paied when real promoters start make parties! we have a more serius problem here!we dont have promoters that know how to do the things right! exept some teams that used to throw parties before years and now rarely make some , all the new promoters are totaly unprofesional , they dont even know wich djs they must put to play! the have their eyes at the door and at the tickets and they dont even listen what the djs that they bring play! when good promoter appears in town i am sure that noone of us will have problems with payments! if someone thinks that i am fault inform me !

LOL...If the "downloaded tracklist" is from Torrent, is it ok then ? Get real, almost everyone is downloading music, esp. "greek local dj's"...

No, you're absolutely right, that's why I laughed in the first place...People do play with emule playlists. And not only "emule" ones, but torrent ones, and more...(also free -legal- ones, check http://www.kahvi.org/ )
Downloading music is a fact, and is also an exciting way to discover good music if you want to. Everything else is hiding behind your finger. I don't care if the music is downloaded, I just care that it sounds good, and that I like it...
