Me also i dont want anyone else banned from this section but i would prefer couple of troublemakers banned from seeing interesting topics getting locked or becoming offtopic all the time because some people do the same stuff for years now and not just on this occation.
And i dont refer to Inner State (who i dont know in personal by the way) who opened an interesting topic and answered to everyone in a polite way trying to keep the discussion alive.
So lets keep going on with this discussion here.

I don't think Detox meant that Inner State is the one to be banned... After all didn't got off topic, he insisted on the situation discribed at the topic he opened..
Many ppl in here got a little *bad* in many topics but I saw no locked ones! So, why this ? It was another IsraTrance fight as usual! We've seen many many all these years. People who destroy the flow of the conversation should be banned... Not people who open really important threads for the scene.. Even if they get angry sometimes! 
Anyway, totally agree with Detox at the whole point. Pitty, it's impossible to have a clean conversation, in my opinion, many things need to be changed, as I said at the locked topic revolution needs to be done..!
And something more to the promoters: Respect others if you want to be respected!
P.S Marie if they ban you I'll leave too!

funny thing about arguing if local djs get paid or not is that..
no dj stating that GOT or GETS paid has posted in this topic 
...or a dj that has always been paid.. in simple terms

And yet another day has gone by and the promoters choose to stay silent....seems they have nothing to say.....Nontheless i would like to continue this discution with people that have actually something to say and maybe propose something that might change their point of view on lockal dj payments....At least i know for sure that the promoters have read the hole issue from the start and got the point....Yes piko bianko it seems that most of the lockals that answered the topic stated their opinion and underlined the existanse of the issue but there is a lot more that didnt....So i guess there is 2 reasons for that....either they get payed and they are sutisfied from their fees and have no problem on the current situation .....or they are "afraid" to come forward and say their opinion in the forum so as not to risk any further bookings by the promoters....
One way or another they will definatelly experience sooner or later what i am talking about.....Maybe then they will realise that if they stand alone on this one...they wont b able to change anything....We either take action all together NOW or else we deserve to b treated like we do...
So i ask the djs this time....both older and new djs....
1)so what if you dont play at their parties?....
2)so what if you dont promote your self and do you "thing" for a while?
3)are we going to loose respect from them?...we have none anyway....
4)if we all deside not to play for a while....then who will?...them selves?...or they will ask from their artists to open their parties?
5)Dont you think that they have to "miss" something in order to re-evaluate it?
6)what if we got all together and desided to play for a standart price with money up front or not play at all?
7) what if we all got together (or some of us)and deside to organise our own parties and never feel the need to bother with all of them again?
We all got connections to artists / clubs / and our own crowd...in some cases even better connections than they do....lets make our own rules and let them fight inbeetween them like they are used to....
Any ideas on that?....any other propositions?
I am sure that most promoters read my posts and laugh at me....Maybe they think ....let him talk....there will always b newcomers that they will b more than happy to play for us...even for free!!
Well my answer in that case would be...yes you might b right ,there will always b newcomers BUT there will always b new promoters as well to play for.Let the newcomers do their thing and see your crowd beeing redused even more....As i said in a previous post,what goes up must come down...peole know...and people will judge you....

now thats a start but my dear frend...lets face the true nature everyone will agree and then someone will sneak to fetch(u know what i am talking about)behind others back... u know and i know and everybody knows that they are people on the scene BEGGING AND KISSING ASSES TO PLAY...
lets say if u go out in a street and shout "HEY DJ" everyone will jump and say "HEY I CAN PLAY"(even if hes gonna play with cds that he has in his car)...so the problem is not dj or artist(for me personally only dj dosent mean anything)but the promoters that will surelly put a nowbody (and i mean tech and skills not name)to play at the party just to save the extra bucks...
so my sugestion is to stick in our wonderfull studios create some good music and let others play for a while lets see if they can stand up...and save our energy for bigger events...lets stop being locals... |

when they will feel the music vibration and judge artists
from their vibe they create and not from how much 'moving money' (people) they bring to a party ..
..when promoters stop dancing with their one eye at the door and their mind on the tickets
..when djs support eachother , with no newcomers / mp3js / 'professional' tabs
afterall we all spin our soul out
..when musicians will be creative
and not mooving on the same $ucce$$full paths
..when the places we choose to dance will be colorfull with visual live entertainments for our mind pleassure and not dark misserable and full of shitty drugs
..when trancers will respect each other
..i have a dream , i know at the deep of you hard you feel the same ..
where have we come so far ?
is that what trance is all about ?
instead of having progress
every year we make a step back ..
for me the issue of the djs not get paid
is the last hole at the long beld
of what we call 'trance parties'
here in greece
..this is why i gave up to it..
cause i sicked and tired this shitty situation

But we have to realise that a psy trance party can not be limited in SMALL BOXES.

the people who has exclusive Djsets or represent a label or have a big selection of original is obligatory to get payed by promoters
if someone wants to play with his downloaded tracklist from e-mule must not play in the first place but if he/she plays then no payment
thats my opinion
also promoters bring people and djs take care of the console
Djs are not insurance salesmen to get crowds to party organizations they have other jobs

this is correct.but how many of the promoters do you think that are in position to know what we have have in our cases??or to understand how mucj work has each of us done in order to provide a dj set(either it is a mixing/flow matter,like mixing in keys and stuff) or a track selection matter(most of them dont know and dont give a shit if i someone is playing unreleased trax,the only thing that matters to them is to fill the gapbefore and after the guest . do you think that if i enter iboga label for example ,i will be payed more for dj set in thessaloniki?i dont think so,because we have this "friend" relationship with all the promoters that we play for.
