what u like me to say man that il make a donation in ure name to the orfan djs comunitte
, i have to say as a dj i get payed 3 times what i get here abroud ,and here every 1 wants me to play for free
liek usal so i dont care honestly,plus as a label
owner i provide to help people ,and as a promoter
parties are fun and people enjoy it some times.any thing else?

no man,i dont want a donation or anything.all i want is to stop spamming some serius topics in which some ppl are making a healthy discussion.making humor from time to time is fine,but having 8 of your 10 posts offtopic is irritating and annoying.i think you get my point.and i got yours also.if we need you we will flash the light like you said!

LOL...If the "downloaded tracklist" is from Torrent, is it ok then ? Get real, almost everyone is downloading music, esp. "greek local dj's"...
In my opinion, dj's that play crap music, have bad sound, and can't mix properly, shouldn't get payed, coz they're just joking about themselves. This doesn't mean that the international names always play and sound better than local ones. They cost a hell lot more to bring, and in some cases, a guy out of nowhere could play much better than them.
It really depends on what someone expects from himself, and from the organiser, and the level of proffesionalism of both. I've played for some trance parties, and got zero money. Others payed just enough. I've also played for mainstream club-cafes, and got decent money for playing madonnas remixes. Who cares ? You want money, or play music ? Coz if you want money from music you like to play, you must also be on a good level, technically and artistically. If you have a price you think is fair, use it and don't give out favours to anyone.
Everyone wants to be the dj, esp. when being young and have grown his/her collection and knowledge of music. But it takes some skill to start getting paid, and more on the way to keep getting paid. Jeezz, there are books about these things with guides all over the internet and bookstores. They didn't come out coz "dj's" get paid in the first place, they came out to help people follow a professional path to success.
Dj's also bring the people, but not in the sense of "dragging" them to the club, or giving out flyers and laying posters. They do it with their name, which they build with the music they play and the trust they earn from the people.
If you get a to play at some party, and not get paid in the end (while you expected the opposite), next time ask yourself : 1) Did you do a good job ? 2)Are you pro enough ? 3) Is the organizer worth dealing with again in the future ?
After all, everything has its price. So has your dj set. You just name it, and then expect the outcome. If you're dealing with some trustworthy organiser that is, other than that, you either don't know what you're doing, or you're dealing with people that just want to get away without paying. Free dudes that is. (tzaba mages)

i have heared him a couple of times though and his music selection was more than ok.see what i am talking about?everything is relative.it is all a matter of taste.you may like alien project and astrix (random example) ,but i consider them big crap.so if a dj is playing this kind of stuff,is he playing crap music?

If a party has an entrance fee the right thing imho for a dj to do is to play only if he/she is getting payed.
If a party obviously does not make it financially he/she can accept not getting payed.
This is not 100% professional but sometimes dj's have to help smaller parties in order for both to continue being in the business.
Many newcomer dj's play for free in order to get publicity. That is their own choise, personally I don't agree with it. There should be an effort from the promoters' side to pay all dj's even with a small amount since it is not fair to make a profit and not distribute it to all who have worked for it.
Dj's who are not professional or serious at what they do and promoters who don't pay the agreed amount or look for dj's to play for free surely exsist but shouldn't be dealt with anymore once proven to be such, i.e. one shouldn't work with/for them again.
