I like GMS sound a lot , but its about pesonality, not the music.

Every body plays in in goa for free . . have you ever been there? mr sethspun.
In the past gms we´re the best for me, but now seeing what they mutated in to, makes me wonder . . Is it really worth it to loose the spice and do it for the money?.
As an alleged label manager isn´t it your job to promote Honesty among your artists? . . Or are things done differently on that side of the atlantic?
One more thing . . if Gms honors so well the bookings they get, why are there so many unhappy promoters, and party ppl all over the globe?

p mac you wrote as an alleged label manager its my job to promte honesty thats what this thread is about,by the way our company was started in amsterdam i dont know which sideof atlantic your own but done start the anti-american trance vibe its not coolgms have never lost the SPICE maybe just refined and any proffesional that travels EVERY weekend does to a certain point do it for money,and the promoters well as i last said there has been mistakes made by both the artist and gms but i know just as many other big artist that have had the same problem ciao seth |

OK, this is a good opportunity to learn something about communicating, in forums and in general.
Now- what happened here?
1. Kaz wrote something he heard or thought he heard in a thread- no problem with that, even if he was wrong.
2. Seth, being in a position of both responsibility and knowledge (as a label manager) responded.
two wrongs:
a. why not respond in the thread itself? What's the point of a new thread?
b. Seth who was obviously angry about the rumors in the net about GMS (his friends & artists), and believe me, these things can make your very angry, some ppl just write bullshit, got very emotional and quite offesive in his respond.
3. ppl got angry back- that's life for you- if you use force in your action there's gonna be a reaction. Most ppl didn't even consider that Seth might be very right about some of the things he said, though it is probably the case.
4. An argument started between some ppl, using totally unrespectful language- against the GUIDELINES! (in pink above you). Instead of having a constructive conversation we got a pointless argument.
Why pointless? Because nobody listened to Seth and Seth didn't listen to others. Nothing goes forward.
5. Ppl were very rude to a new member of the forum and one who represents an important label.
Bad move- don't we all want this community to be represent here? All sides of it? Don't we want this place to connect between labels & dancers & listeners and artists??? WE DO!
5. Ppl thought Seth is not from spun. (small thing)
Seth- contact ShivaS and this can be arranged. This goes for any other artist & label here.
Now- this thread is obviously locked.
I will be happy to see informative threads about these topics.
Of course it does matter to people to know the truth about the subject of GMS appearing or not appearing to gigs, as there was a lot of talking about that, probably some wrong and some right. I'll be happy if this can be checked out, but I won't let this place turn into a fighting arena.
Please ppl, this is our community, lets keep it a nice place, if you would only think some more before you press that button...
I hope Bush will think more than you before he presses the button...
