My taste in psytrance has distilled down to two or three unknown and unreleased young producers from Finland that I listen to on soundcloud.
I wonder if that's the only reason I come on this site and read every day. |

very similar here. I really like only a few producers from nowadays psytrance , and from time to time I hear maybe a track, maybe one in a week but that is it. I think I gonna delete all my collection and keep some old goodies for nostalgia times.
I come here only for music production forum and eventually the trance section is fun or interesting.
Still it is a great resource of technical advices in terms of audio engineering and sound desing here, that's why I will come back to Isra as long as it exists.
Would be just a very logical smart idea to refresh this pages in my eyes- IMO it is really naive to thing it is cause of Facebook, and to keep it as it is. The other forums makes no sense already, it is time to change something or to watch it getting smaller and smaller until it really stop existing I guess.

in everything you 'examine for years makes you more strict on your choices if you will. I come here because there are others here also, who have their favourite bands too. |

kinda, yes.
the format we use is surpassed by facebook, and other social media.
also we don´t have the resources to keep on implementing new features and i reckon a lot of users are going away and we don´t have the means to bring new blood in.
so isratrance is sufering a slowly death and only a fistfull of users will stay, mainly because some are with us since the begining while others love the blue room
but eventually it will cease.
my guess.

If we could get the database and someone to offer webspace , we could try to port it over into something new?
