Hey guys anyone would like to share/make presets for Ni Massive so we can make a bank?
the patch have to be done by yourself ( from innit patch or a preset but should not sound like the original )
what do you think?
if you re up , save patch with a name to indicate what it s made for like :
LEAD_Insert the name
BASS_" "
FX_
ect ...
andwhatever you want.. |

i created the topic in the wrong place !!! i m not sure many gonna see this like on the main forum section.
also about loudness ? what do you think of around -8 db peak and adjust by ears to get your presets to sound close in term of loudness (dont matter much but all this is for better browsing experience ) |

i've always been harsh on the massive synth, always thought it produced mainly the standard commercial kind of psy synthlines, never used it thouhg, so i'm just an ignorant talking here..

it s good for a bit everyhting with a modern caractere , im not very familiar with it myself, i use it since years but i dont really exploit it..i make a patch here and there.. imo it s possible to make really good patch with it psyché or cheesy .. i heard some really good one already 
there is loads of good wavetable, load of modulations, it can only be fun , it s one of the best ever sometimes i think.. specially with some culture vulture power but even wihtout it it can feel like there is some tubes hiden somewhere . |

dunno if it s me or that thing never sit in front of a psy mix and cut ! weird .. i did a few leads but i m never totally satisfied, not you guys? maybe i was not in a good day, the thing just don't want to sit right in the mix wihtout hard work.. maybe need to get more used to it dunno.. |

i think one of the reason is cause of their oversampling that is totally crappy and dull and smear the sound..in echo mode it sound better LOL for some sounds it s night and day.. |

How did you go about getting Massive? Did you get some upgrade for Maschine MK1 that has Massive free with it? I read something about it but I am not sure what is going on?

yeah with mashine 1.81 there is a free liscence but its not allowed to resell it,i got a mail with a serial and a link to download it.
owned it already with komplete . |

guys what do you think about uploading them when we have some ready? so everyone can retweak/ fine tune or even using the patchs as starting point to create new presets .
made a few goa/full on leads let me know if it open wihtout trouble? my presets are usually just starting point to tweak in the context of a tune..but if you tweak them i would really apreciate you share them back so i can see what you have done and it make more presets for the bank..
if you want to modulate ,first check the macro knobs on the right down corner or your modwheel sometimes its used.
psy presets can rely so much on the midi pattern be sure to try different ones if it sound off or if you retweak to fit your midi reshare with maybe something added in the name.
